All 6 participating teams confirm their managers for the 3rd edition of the Pakistan Super League

On the 4th of February, 2018, all teams officially sent their list of managers for their respective franchises to the Pakistan Cricket Board that will manage the team squad and staff during the 3rd edition of the Pakistan Super League. All teams have opted to not change their managers from last year. The debutants, Multan Sultans have appointed two managers for their team as well.

ISLAMABAD: In a meeting held between governing council representatives of the Pakistan Super League and the administration of Islamabad United at their headquarters, the Diamond Club Ground in Islamabad, it was decided that they would retain CerealKiller as the sole team manager from last year.

CerealKiller, who had been their manager last year, when the team was only able to win 3 out of their 8 league matches, and were the only team to not qualify for the play-off, was retained despite the aforementioned performance. The administration of the team has showed complete faith in CerealKiller's abilities, and with a newly-built team, they look to diminish their declining track record.

LAHORE: Fawad Rana, the owner of the Lahore Qalandars has decided to sustain his decision from last year and continue with Naman Thakur and The Deadman as their co-managers from last year. The two will manage the scenes from the back of the Qalandars for the second year in a row.

These two were a part of their constantly positive performances last year when they finished 2nd at the end of the regular season, scoring 4 wins, the same as the 3rd and 4th ranked teams, although theirs were more comprehensive and lopsided to their advantage. They finished 2nd, only to choke in the play-offs and be knocked-out with two consecutive loses.

MULTAN: Multan Cricket Stadium, the headquarters of the Multan Sultans held a presser, formally announcing a decision made two days before the presser, announcing Field Marshal and Manish. as the managers for Multan Sultans' 2018 Pakistan Super League campaign. These two have a neat pedigree and résumé of accomplishments, but this will be their first real test in the Pakistani cricketing circuit.

KARACHI: Ahmad94 was confirmed to be continuing as the manager of Karachi Kings by Salman Iqbal at a news conference he was a part of, which aired on the 2nd of February, 2018 on ARY News. A private news channel, which is also the parenting administration of the Karachi Kings franchise.

Under his wing, the Karachi Kings managed to merely qualify for the play-offs after a thrilling a game that was considered a virtual knockout, just before the play-offs. The team was eventually knocked-out in the eliminator by Peshawar Zalmi, the runners-up from last year.

PESHAWAR: In a tweet sent out by the official and verified Peshawar Zalmi handle, it was confirmed that the duo of AliB and Bilal48 would return to manage the team which they were able to manage last year to the second spot. Javed Afridi, the owner of the team has said, "Last year, we fell short of the title by only 9 runs. I think these two did a splendid job throughout, and deserve a second chance".

Losing Shahid Afridi was a big blow to the team, but AliB and Bilal48 look to accomplish the title after coming so close the year before despite his departure.

QUETTA: During a media conference-call on Quetta Gladiators' official YouTube channel, the rumours of the winning duo of Yash. and RUDI returning to manage them again, this year, were confirmed.

Last year, Yash., RUDI and ThanksRudolph led them to the top of the table in the regular season, and then the title. This year, apart from the latter, they'll return in a bid to duplicate the same level of success they achieved the year before.

I'd like to ask all managers to trim down their squads to 18-men, only. The simulator doesn't allow more than 18 players per squad. The rules are below.

- You can have a maximum of eighteen players in your squad
- You can have a maximum of six overseas () players
- You can not drop your captain ()
- You can not pick players that have been struck through
- You need at least two wicket-keepers (/) in your squad

This one is good. But I think we are a pacer short but I also think Jason Roy is too good a player to be left out. What do you say? Should we go for a pacer in Morkel, Laughlin or Hastings or Stick with this team. Currently, we have only 5 pacers.
