Draft: Selection: Impossible

:zim: :ar: Wessly Madhevere
Only option left for the second opener was Jeremy Solozano. I think Madhevere is better than him and can also bowl some useful right arm off-spin. Although he scored 3 ducks in 3 innings of his Test career, I think looking at his domestic record, he still has much to deliver. And he is just 23 years old.

He is a middle-order batter by the looks of his domestic scorecards but he has opened in T20Is and ODIs and will do so in my team.

FC batting average of 31.91 and bowling average of 24.53. Close to 4000 runs and five less than 300 wickets in First Class cricket. Unlucky to only play one Test match.

@Yash. is next (technically @Bigby Wolf but he has not been active)

Sorry for my inactivity.

For my next pick I go back to the old well of apartheid South African cricket band bring in Ken McEwan to bolster my middle order.

@Viper. i believe is up next

Okay, first of all: @Yash. has been absent for quite a long time and his team has been riddled with hilarious auto-picks. I think it's only fair to go back and right that with some proper picks instead.

Current XI
1.
2. :ire: :bat: James McCollum
3. :nzf: :bat: Kane Williamson
4. :aus: :bat: Steve Smith
5.
6. :eng: :ar: Ben Stokes
7. :ind: :ar: Ravindra Jadeja
8.
9. :aus: :bwl: Nathan Lyon
10. :wi: :bwl: Jomel Warrican
11. :sri: :bwl: Prabath Jayasuriya

Pick 1 - :eng: :bat: Joe Root - Let's get an extra Fab Four batter in there. And Joe Root fits in exactly where his record is best: number five, where he will usually get to face lots of spinners.
Pick 2 - :sri: :bat: Dimuth Karunaratne - I'd go as far as to say Dimuth is the premier specialist opening batter in the world right now; proper old school stuff.
Pick 3 - :ind: :bwl: Jasprit Bumrah - The outright best cricketer in the world: Jasprit Bumrah might be the most complete fast bowler ever to play the game.
Pick 4 - :pak: :bwl: Shaheen Shah Afridi - The best left-arm fast bowler in the world, a great addition to the team.
Pick 5 - :aus: :bat: Usman Khawaja - If you had to pick one current player to bat for your life, it'd be Khawaja, right?
Pick 6 - :eng: :wk: Ben Foakes - With two world-class finger spinners, this team absolutely needs a world-class gloveman to hoover up any chances he creates.

Finished XI
1. :sri: :bat: Dimuth Karunaratne
2. :aus: :bat: Usman Khawaja
3. :nzf: :bat: Kane Williamson
4. :aus: :bat: Steve Smith
5. :eng: :bat: Joe Root

As always, if Yash comes back then he is welcome to change any picks here that he doesn't like.

Finally, we all have a pick or two left. Rather than waiting for our respective turns, I think our missions now have little enough overlap that we should all feel free to go ahead and make all of our remaining picks. That means:
If I've missed or misremembered anyone, let me know but I think that's everyone. Rather than waiting for each other, please feel free to make all outstanding picks on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Also @qpeedore if you'd like a mission of your own, let me know whether you'd prefer an easy, intermediate, hard or impossible mission and I'll send you one over to build a team with.

I hope that all makes sense to everyone, and once again thank you all for your patience.
