AI Patch: The Spin's Realistic AI Patch Version 1.1*
*I will be releasing seperate reviews for The Spin's other patches, as I feel it is unfair to the AI Patch itself, as I have different opinions on all 3.

Review Category: Test match Batting + Bowling, ODI Batting + Bowling
Difficulty Level: Hard
Summary: The Spin put lots of effort into this AI Patch, in my opinion. The name says it all, its much more realistic. While batting, I found it easy to bat, however, the bowler surprised me. I got caught behinds, edges, spooned straight to a cover fielder, and even batpad catches! While bowling, I found that bowling a bad ball would make the ball hit the middle of the bat. Whether it went past the infield depended on my field, but it was pretty realistic. I had to also vary the deliveries I bowled, which made it not impossible to bowl and get a wicket, and not easy. A good thing I found. Personally, I think it is a very good AI Patch, and one I would use in the future if I am not testing any other AI Patches!
Detailed Review: I had some very exciting encounters with this patch. It felt much better to play with this AI Patch than the one I was using before. The AI itself played very well, and adjusted to the situation on hand. I had India at 77/5, and the AI batted defensively, and got India to 225. Even though they were all out, the AI gave itself a chance, something I have never seen in an AI Patch. If I bowled around offstump, at a good length, then I didn't concede very many runs. The moment I strayed on Sehwag or Dravid's legs, or had the ball going down leg, I got hit for runs, as it should be in World Cricket today. Batting wise, if the bowler (Irfan Pathan, Sreesanth, McGrath, Lee) got the ball outside offstump, and got it to swing away from a right handed batsman, I was in trouble. However, a good thing was that the world class batsmen were not as troubled by it. If I could get the ball for four, 7 out of 10 times, it was a bad ball. If I hit a six, then it HAD to be a bad ball, unless I was batting with Afridi, who hit a couple of amazing blows on good balls. Something that concerned me, was that it was a little too easy to pick up ones and twos, which gave me a large score. I found this AI Patch to me too easy, but very well made. But, you had to be about 50% to 75% confident to bat with ease. Personally, if I wasn't so good at this game, I would always use it

.
Bounce & Outfield settings : The ball operated just as it should on all the pitches. Low, difficult bounce to cope with on green pitches. Good bounce on hard pitches for the batsmen (easy to play, as it should be). The outfield, however, was very unrealistic. I hit the ball through the offside, and it went a little slowly through the infield (the 30 yard circle in ODIs) and then it sped to the boundary. This also occured in test matches. I have come to the conclusion, that this is a bug by EA Sports, and it is very difficult to fix this, so I will not hold this against The Spin.
Autoplay: With a great AI Patch like this, who in their right mind would autoplay? Well, through my testing, the Autoplay function works just like the default autoplay by EA.
Field settings:
No fields included. Used default fields.
Strokes:
No stroke file included. Used default stroke files, strokes itself operated just as without this or any AI Patch.
Gameplay:
The fielders I feel are much sharper, and so is the wicket keeper. The wicket keeper, (Kamran Akmal, Mahendra Dhoni, Adam Gilchrist, and Brad Haddin were used in my testing) did not let go very many byes. In my entire testing of this AI Patch, Kamran Akmal only let go 1 bye, (Got a hand on the ball, which surprised me, and got pace off the ball, which I have never seen before), and Dhoni, Gilchrist, and Haddin let go 13 byes each. However, they were difficult takes, and I think the umpire should have called them wides! The catching itself, was very good. The wicket keepers did not drop ONE catch, which pleased me. How often do you see wicket keepers drop catches. There were some complex catches, that even Kamran Akmal, or the world's best wicket keeper could not catch , and I did not count them. The ground fielding was pretty good, there were some run out chances, but I only got one actual run out. The fielders are much more sharper in the infield.
Suggestions:
1) Fix the bug in which the ball goes very quickly after passing the infield slowler. (This will be a HUGE fix if you can accomplish this)
2) Make your own stroke file.
3) Make your own field settings.
4) Try to add more edges to the keeper, rather than spooned catches to a fielder. Would make it more realistic.
Thats pretty much it, can't think of any more. (Which is a good thing)
The Final Verdict :
This AI Patch is in my opinion : Very Good
zMario's score on this AI Patch : 8/10
