I could help out with AFL if thats in?

Why does PlanetCRICKET need a FOOTBALL magazine?

Why does PlanetCRICKET need a FOOTBALL magazine?
Or indeed why does it need any magazine at all ;)

Don't see any reason to have a football magazine associated with a cricket site at all. If people want to make a magazine then fine, but why is there always this need to tie it to planetcricket? At least have some imagination.

I sense you don't like the idea of Planetcricket Magazine  :p

Not really no. I don't see the point. Firstly I don't see how any "magazine" can go calling itself planetcricket anything unless its run by the Admins here. Or at least by staff members. How can a site put its name to something it has no editorial control over, or more to the point why would it want to. If people are just using the name then they are stealing it. Secondly, I don't see why everything that would go in a magazine can't be posted on the forum. To me it's just taking content away from the site.

Fair enough. Your views, and I do agree with most of them. However I don't want to ruin the surprise by telling some of the special features but the magazine links heavily to Planetcricket and if anything may bolster certain parts of the forum and that's all I'll say on the matter. I do also agree about editorial control but none of the admin team expressed interest in working with us, which is their choice. I'm not saying they should have to but if they don't want to get involved it's not our fault.

That's what I think would be best as well. Make's the overall mag look better as well. I suggest you/shatnau drop Usy a PM concerning you guys merging with us

To be fair we could just have a football page or 3 in the other magazine...

Or you could just have a spread-out on page 3. More specifically, Hooper spread out on page 3.

I hear Kev is trying to sue you guys for using PlanetCricket (C) name :p

The Planet Cricket Magazine has an article on the best story thread of April, an article about the rise and fall of the virtual cricket competitions and an interview with a member. All of this is connected to Planetcricket.net, so it is logical to link it with the site.

It kinda states it on the front cover...
