New York Bears Welcome new name and new Owners!

In the Fifth round of Bidding, The New York Bears have been bought my the High and Mighty trio of Abhas, World Champions, and Kshitiz_Indian!!

Following the bidding drama, manager, Abhas Gupta commented that they have agreed to take over the team, but it would be relocated to India, the Heart of Cricket.
New York was just not cricket savvy enough, nor was it profitable for the business tycoons.

He assured the Members of Planetcricket, the team is a force to be reckoned with, and would surely come up with a better name than 'New York Bears'. He sarcastically referred to the stock market where Bears are not exactly welcome ;).

The managers of the so called New York Bears, the team which they have just bought, have decided that the team needs a new, better, and more dynamic name. In the general Board Meeting held on 23rd April 2008, it was unanimously decided that the team will now be called Indian Incinerators.

The team is now officially in India, and the new name Indian Incinerators suits the vibrance and dynamism that the team portrays. The name Incinerators reflects the team's and the manager's desire to incinerate every previous record and known names and put their own. The team's aim is to set new standards.

They are looking forward to having a great season ahead, where they would love to learn a lot about others, and instill their experience in the team's success story.

Co-Managers World Champions and Kshitiz_Indian were equally elated after the final announcement was made. They asked the players to support their team, and can surely expect something special from them :)

Now, with the new name, the team is planing to open a tender for sponsorships soon.

With that, Let's all wish them Good Luck, and expect success in the forthcoming tournaments!!

Three Indian Warriors players Abhas,Avroneel and Kshitiz shocked the Cricsim world when they announced they have bought a cricket team . It was really a stunner as all the Cricsim people know that these players play for the team Indian Warriors . However there was a rumour that Indian Warriors players interested in PCPL and and having talks with the creator of PCPL Mr Simbaz Barrow. No one even dreamed that this romour could came true. The team they bought is known as Newyork Bears but later the owner decided to change it and give a name which have some passion in it .

In the general Board Meeting held yesterday, it was unanimously decided that the team will be called Indian Incinerators. As earlier stated by Mr. Abhas Gupta, Manager of Indian Incinerators, the New York did not suit cricket, neither did Bears, which reminded him of the share market downfalls.

Let us wish the team, with a new name good luck and hopefully it can live up to the good image it has gathered.

I am in Abhy..Please don't forget me,I am poor but still very useful.:p

The name is kind of dodgey.

Most of the other teams have it on a city, maybe you guys should name it on Mumbai?

Mumbai Masters?

Please take it into consideration :)

We don't want to make it a single area affair. :) The name Indian reflects the unity of all the players despite the cultural diversity, exactly as it happens in India. India is a vast country with thousands of different cultures, but still stands united. Same is with our team.

The name Indian isn't meant to encourage only players from the Indian subcontinent. As the above explanation suggests, it suggests all players to join in, which is again reflected by the name itself. :)

i wanna join this team if i cannot join then i will sponsor it
