Australian Universities

Hi, I am currently in in my third (Final year), doing my graduation in BSc(Hons) in Business and Management.

For Postgraduation, I want to study in Australia, specifically in Sydney.
The universities I came across were : http://www.australian-universities.com/directory/sydney-universities/

I want to pursue masters in Business Management. Not looking for MBA, because most of the universities require full-time work experience, and I am not willing to wait for 2-3 years.
I am interested in Enterpreneurship, and a few courses have modules covering it.

I am confused about which university to opt for. According to the rankings, within Sydney, University of Sydney is the Best, followed by University of NSW, then by Macquarie. Obviously I would prefer University of Sydney, but I would like to have a second opinion from you guys, specially the people from Australia, who have an idea about all this.

Living would not be a problem for me, since I have my aunt staying in Sydney, and I would probably stay with her. That's the major reason why I am specific about Sydney.

I am looking for good education, rather than good job prospects. I am NOT doing this course for a job. I want to learn the basics of Enterpreneurship and Business Management, and I would be joining our existing business after the Post Graduation is complete.

I wish to get good inputs from all of you, and I hope some people can guide me better :)

PS : Mods, please don't merge this with the Education thread, as I would like to have this thread separate for the time being.

I don't know much about Sydney, but in Melbourne Monash University and University of Melbourne are supposed to be the two best. I'm yet to be to either obviously but they are both very prestigious universities.

Yes, from what I have heard, Melbourne is Australia's 2nd Best University. Australia National University being the best.
Sydney University ranks third, and just seems perfect for me.
Still have to finalize the management course. Confused between
1. Master of Commerce
2. Master of Management
3. Master of International Business

Will closely look at the course structure, and the specific modules. Need to decide at the earliest.

Can't solve kiddish maths problems... and masters of commerce... :p

lol no just kidding. Best of luck for the studies abroad, shame delhi would lose another gem! :p

Come to England. Manchester :p

You can then meet me :D

No? Ok then :(

How about La Trobe University, Dean? I've heard it's pretty good.

La Trobe is alright, but it's not in the same league as Monash and Melbourne. Of course Melbourne doesn't do specific degrees straight away anymore, first you have to complete a general degree in one of six areas, but Commerce is one of them so you might not need to do a specialised degree afterwards.

If all else fails there is always Charles Sturt Uni. The CSU is a brilliant little place. :p

A spot of tea and crumpets by the fireplace watching the rain outside - Splendid! /British Accent.

:p
