[Cancelled] = PS3 Winter T20 League (Ashes Cricket 2009)

Welcome to PS3 Winter T20 League. This will be an ongoing league where players will be ranked by the number of points they have accumulated over the period of 3 months. Today is Oct 01, 2009. The league will end on Jan 01, 2010.
This league is open to any and every PlanetCricket member who plays AC2009 online for PS3.
Every player will play against each other for maximum of 3 matches (We can add more matches per player if there is enough time). So if one loses and wants a rematch they get 2 more chances
Also, if you are participating in any ongoing T20 tournaments or future T20 tournaments then those results can also be counted towards your ranking (if both players are in the points table. If not please ask them to join and it will be qualified)
You have option to pick 3 countries to play in this league
So if your team is India and other player has also picked India then one of you can change to another of your preferred countries
Also to add, new people can join the league anytime until Oct 31, 2009

Points:
Winner gets 4 points plus bonus points
Losing team gets 1 point plus bonus points if any
Tied match gets 2 points each plus bonus points
Disconnected match will end up in getting the other player 4 points and you 0.

Bonus points:
200 runs or greater score in a match - 1 bonus point
10 wickets in a match - 1 bonus point
*Win without custom field - 1 bonus point.
A batsman scores 100 - 1 bonus point
A bowler of yours takes 5 wicket in an inning - 1 bonus points
*( People will debate the custom field bonus since I don't like custom field but if you think you have scored enough that you can defend it without the use of custom setting then you can gain 1 more point. If at any instance you want to revert back to custom field you can but you won't get the bonus point)

Rules:
As mentioned earlier, 3 games per apponent
Custom field should have atleast 3 fielders at any point on either side of the wicket. If people don't follow this or cheat then please provide a proof or screenshot and they will be disqualified from the league
5 disconnects while a match is in progress will get you disqualified

Please let me know if I missed anything or if anything needs to be added. This is my first tournament creation so please go easy.
Point of this league is to match up and compete against each other all the time and have our style of ranking

When posting the result, please use the following format

Winning player:

Match score :
Custom field used (Y/N):
Batsman scored 100 (Y/N):
Bowler took 5 wicket (Y/N):
Screenshot if possible:

The ranking will be based on matches, wins, loss, Total points

Sounds interesting and if workable, I'd love to be involved

Though just want to question the custom field bonus as it seems a bit hard to 'police', and tbh, if a guy pulled a custom field on me, am I supposed to pause and grab screenshots etc? Especially as it's not against the rules, just effects a bonus, I really don't think I'd be bothered and seems more effort than the reward.

But that's a side-note.... for now I guess just put me down.

Since this league is open to everyone, we might get some nut who exploits the custom field and has everyone on the offside. Its only when that unfair fields happens that one can provide a screenshot of when that happened and we kick him/her out of the league.
Bonus point is for not using custom field. For that just your word is enough

EDIT: Does someone know how to make a good table for scores and points. I tried to make it but the format gets screwed up since it doesn't counts the spaces
EDIT 2: The league matches will start once we get 4 players. Other new players can also join until Oct 31, 2009

I heard from people who played Fifa 10 that its full of bugs
There is a whole forum dedicated to the bugs that game has. I still enjoy Fifa 09 and there's not enough new to even consider Fifa10. It will sell because its a footy and people will keep buying it every year even if they just packed Fifa 09 in Fifa10 package

I am open to any and every suggestions to make things interesting
The matches from other tournament count because that way players can participate in other tourneys as well and they can get ranked up
This league is open to all since other tourneys have space limit and people who can't join on time have to wait for it to be over or wait for another tourney and don't get to play every player
You can't discard something without even giving it a try

EDIT: I love custom fields now. I have started using it too. Its just while chasing if its a big score its sometimes hard to chase down runs so if the other opponent is confident he can defend the total without custom fields or if both parties don't use custom field then they get a bonus point

No. Any teams would do. Just when we play against each other we should have different teams
