I thought we did exceedingly well. We played great cricket throughout the match except for the Hobbs-Hendren partnership of 186 (238). Our bowlers were generally on top of their game. We bowled just 10 bad overs but that really turned the game on its head because that saw Hobbs and Hendren capitalizing on the situation. I am very glad that we were mostly on top of our game against a top class side. I am really looking forward to the next season which will feature players like Constantine, Freddie Martin, Karl Nunnes in it while Challenor, Snuffy and Francis still being there and Small getting more matured as a player.
Great to win in such a convincing way. I remember Macartney scoring 3 runs in 4 innings in 1908, so this knock should boost his Olympic average a little bit.
And just when I thought we were brilliant after seeing 1st innings' scorecard, our batsmen failed to impress like our bowlers did.
A great bowling performance led by our skipper. We really should have won this. Couple of players did try but others didn't help at all.
They played better than I thought in the starting. I hope next Olympics bring more confidence and skills.

Player rarities
In each squad, players have been marked with these icons to give you a fair idea of their playing skills and overall usefulness to your team.
- Legend. Used for the players that are undoubtedly the best of the lot.
- Gold. Used for players with a high level of consistency and ability to deliver during key moments.
- Ruby. Used for players that are extremely talented and can play in a way no one else can replicate.
- Silver. Used for players that aren't as talented as their Gold/Ruby/Legend contemporaries, but still capable of holding their own against the best in business.
- Sapphire/Crystal. Used for players that are halfway between Bronze and Silver. They are more likely to put in good performances than players from the Bronze category.
- Bronze. Used for players that are inexperienced or with a lower skill set compared to those from a higher category. They could either put in good performances or fail miserably.

Argentina were made to toil hard for their total of 120 by Great Britain's miserly attack who conceded less than 3 runs per over collectively. Arthur Gilligan was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 22 from his quota of 10 overs.

Canada's golden run in the competition was brought to a close by Warwick Armstrong's ruthless outfit. The man himself conceded just 7 runs from his 5 overs, but his performance was overshadowed by Charles Kelleway who returned awe-inspiring figures of 9-1-13-3.
