A MOVEMENT OF SILENCE FOR JAGMOHAN DALMIYA

BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya passes away in Kolkata, Pakistan - India match delayed.

02dalmiya3.jpg
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Jagmohan Dalmiya, hailed as the architect of India's rise as the game's financial superpower, passed away in a private hospital in Kolkata on Sunday (20th September). Dalmiya, who had also served as president of the International Cricket Council (2001-2004), (20013), (2015) was admitted to hospital after suffering a heart attack on Thursday.

A businessman known for his marketing acumen, Dalmiya was a key figure in bringing the 1987 and 1996 cricket World Cups to the sub-continent. He took over as BCCI president for a second time earlier this year, after a gap of nearly a decade, but had not been keeping well for the past few months.

A key figure in the BCCI ever since he joined it in 1979, Dalmiya played a major role in helping it to emerge as the wealthiest cricket board in the world, with the lifestyles of India's leading cricketers being transformed. His stint as the first Asian head of the ICC marked a shift in the game's balance of power from the old superpowers, England and Australia, towards Asia, particularly India. It was a controversial tenure, but even his detractors acknowledged that he opened their eyes to the game's revenue-making potential.

Due to this tragic event, the India Pakistan final test match has been postponed. At this moment Head coach Rahul Dravid announced that PC INDIA wicket keeper "Tapir Kanta" will serve as the Vice-Captain of the team and will take responsibility from upcoming series.

yeah man, what team are you?
Thanks, we're Argentina. Argentina-Spain should be a good rivalry. ;)

anybody wants to play against Niue?
Can You tour us for a single ODI game?

I'm not so sure how it works, but anyways, let me give it a try.

Just a bit confused about what these 'match slots' are. I guess match slot is an alternative word used for tournament rounds, Like.. The Future Tours Programme has 10 rounds, and we have to decide the round we like to play in, right? And we obviously can't have two games in a single round.

Argentina's tour of Spain - 3 ODIs
Match slots : 6, 7 & 8.

Niue's tour of Argentina - Only ODI
Match slot : 9

These should be helpful, and please do update them on the FTP table as soon as You get time, Author. :)

Satyam Kumar scored his second century of the series. India failed to make much use of the excellent batting conditions with a mediocre 313.

@The Author @VC the slogger

I know it might be much to ask from you guys.. But you guys are doing a great job, so I thought it will be nice to make it a proper Planet Cricket Dynasty. It would be great if you guys follow this details while posting Indian players images. Just to give the league a great fell.

Thank you.

What about this man @cooks1st100, huh?

I asked u first! :-||
Hey man, sorry I completely missed this or I would have replied. Yeah I'm interested. I'm not sure how this works as have been out of the loop for a couple of weeks. If possible I will play in this as well as against @UK768
I'm afraid You can't.

With Australia being unavailable from match slot 3-10 for their commitments against a Kuwaiti test tour, and a Germany-Australia-Pakistan tri-series, and Spain having matches against Argentina on match slot 6, 7 & 8.
