After the success of Season 1, its time for Season 2. Its going to be bigger and better.
Following are changes/rules for Season 2.
1. Each team shoud have
exactly 18 players.

The only criteria is maximum of 3 Million can be used in secret bidding. This 3 Million has to come from your balance amount.
Unutilised money in the secret bidding will be return back to you
. Out of 15 players 6 are legend players which means their rating would be higher than current players. Other 9 players would be rated on par with current players. For example a player like Saqlain Mushtaq can be compared with Saeed Ajmal at his peak form.

Once secret bidding is over trade window will open when you can buy/sell players from/to other teams. Trade value of a player is fixed. Whatever amount the player has been bought in season 1 exact amount needs to be used in trading. You cannot trade those 15 players who were intrdouced in season 2. If you are buying a player he needs to be in your team for at least one season. He cannot be traded or released immediately in the same trade window.
Player Release:
If you no longer need a player he can be released. You will get 50% of what you paid for him if you release the player.
Player Contracts:
After Secret Bidding, Trade Window and Player release you need to provide contracts for the players.
Kolkata Knight Riders have 16.1 Million lets say they spend their 3 million in secret bidding for buying 3 players then
they need to sign contracts with 15 players with the remaining 13 million amount.
Chennai Super Kings have 8.7 Million and if they spend their 3 million in secret bidding for buying 3 players then
they need to sign cotracts with 15 with the remaining 5.7 million amount.
Lets say Chennai Super Kings buy Gary Sobers from KKR for 1.6 million. In this case there is no need to renew the contract means
they don't need to spend anything additional to retain the player. If Chennai Super Kings want to retain Richard Hadlee then they to spend 1.7 million to retain him.
Sponsors:
Each team can have one apparell sponsor and one main sponsor. Teams have the choice to decide their sponsors.
Season 2 sponsorship is based on your performance in season 1.

Betting:
From season 2 onwards betting is going to be legalised in Cricket Manager 2k15. Betting will happen for real life matches. Polls will be used for Betting, so that it's easy to track. Both Managers can bet (ie they can vote on the polls). Each entry will cost 200,000 if you win your money gets doubled (ie 400,000) if you loose your 200,000 is gone. Betting is optional if teams don't want to participate that's ok. But who want to miss out on earning easy money. Beware it requires some cricketing brain.
All kinds of real life matches will be available for betting. Domestic, international, test, odi, t20 etc.
For example a poll will be created on this thread for IPL finals and teams can vote on it. If both the managers vote on the poll then 400,000 will be your betting amount and if they win they will walk away with 800,000.
Merchandise:
Merchandise will be introduced from Season 2. At the beginning of the season teams need to decide how many t-shirts they want to produce. The cost of producing a t-shirt is $25 and the selling price of t-shirt is $50. For season 2 max of 120,000 t-shirts can be produced. Now comes the crucial part. Number of t-shirts you sell depends on number of matches you win. For each match you win 10,000 t-shirts will be sold. If you win finals then 20,000 t-shirts will be sold.
Number of league matches - 9 (90,000 t-shirts)
Playoffs will be considered as 1 match (10,000 t-shirts)
Finals 1 match (20,000 t-shirts)
Let's say you want to produce 120,000 t-shirts. 120,000*25 = 3 million will be deduced at the start of the season and if you win just one match then 10000*50 you will get 500,000 which means a loss of 2.5 million for your team.
Let's say you want to produce 60,000 t-shirts. 60000*25= 1.5 million will be your manufacturing cost and if you win 8 matches all 60000 will be sold but you could have sold extra 20000 t-shirts here.
Insurance:
There will be two rain affected matches in season 2 and you have two options here.
Either you can spend 500,000 million Insurance or you may not spend even a penny for Insurance.
If your home match is rain affected and you would have spent on Insurance then whatever the tickets revenue you had in your previous match that would be given to you which indirectly means your first home match will not be rain affected.
Suppose your ticket revenue for your first home match is 800,000 and your second match is rain affected and if you have insurance cover you will get the entire 800,000.
Suppose your ticket revenue for your first home match is 400,000 and your second match is rain affected and if you have insurance cover you will get the entire 400,000.
Even though you spent 500,000 there is a possibility of getting lower than what you spent.
Stadium Upgrade
Currently your stadium capacity is 10,000 which can be upgraded to 20,000 on spending 10 Million for Infrastructure cost.
