Peter Chase wrote himself into the record books as the first Irishman to claim a five-fer in Test cricket. Apart from skipper Saroj Padhy's (@Saroj padhy) sturdy presence at the top and Varun Rustagi's (@Varun) free-flowing approach in the middle-order, it was an innings of struggle for the Australians in testing conditions.

That was close. Ireland gave a very good scare for us. Glad we could be on the winning side. Coming to my player's performance, it was horrible. Glad didn't get a pair by the looks of it.
