Since Australia has only 11 players and England has 12, I chose Australia.

We've got a total of 24 signups so far - 12 each for Australia and England respectively, which I believe ought to be enough to get this thing started. First up will be two 2-match ODI series that England and Australia play against Ireland and Scotland respectively.
And now for selecting the two skippers:
Options available (based on signup forms submitted)
Saroj Padhy?
Sod Anderson?
Umair Nazim?
Or the fast bowler Ali Bubere?
Selecting a fast bowler to captain the Aussies would definitely be a first..
On the other hand, and Aussie skipper should ideally be someone who can sledge the crap out of his opponents
It's a toughie..
How can I possibly pick one out of four such great options?
Random.org number generator?
Besides, I already used that method the last time..
It's tried and tested..
and not to mention boring..
Did any of you get to watch the TWD Season 6 finale? If not, well spoiler alert..

All of them members of proven quality in the leagues section..
Dave Clark?
Navin Gandhi?
Yash Hirani?
Ben Storms?
Kristian Lee, the man who led them in the last PC Ashes played down under in 2013/14?
Or the mean fastie Abdul Rafay? Can he pull off a Bob Willis here?

The two selected captains may distribute five attribute points across their respective squads to fellow PC players. No more than 2 points per player, and the maximum limit per discipline (eg batting/bowling ability) is 5 points. You may do this right away while selecting your respective squads for your upcoming ODI series against Ireland and Scotland, or you may spend them at your own comfort as the league progresses. Your choice.
When it comes to selecting your respective ODI squads, there are a few things to keep in mind:
1) Each squad for a particular Test/ODI series contains 15 players.
2) A minimum of 11 PC players are required in a squad.
3) No more than 4 real life players allowed in a squad.
4) Real life players that have been selected as PC player likenesses have been ruled out of this league. This effectively means the following players cannot be selected in this league: James Anderson, Jonny Bairstow, Cameron Boyce, Jos Buttler, Alastair Cook, James Faulkner, Alex Hales Travis Head, David Hussey, Mitchell Johnson, Usman Khawaja, Chris Lynn, Glenn Maxwell, Liam Plunkett, Toby Roland-Jones, Joe Root, Peter Siddle, Mitchell Starc, Ben Stokes, Peter Trego, David Warner, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood
5) Real life players that have retired or have been ruled out due to injury currently cannot be selected either.
6) If a captain finds himself indisposed and unable to post a lineup for his team, it is the vice captain's duty to step in and do so. The maximum time allotted for posting lineups is 120 hours or 5 days. I will go with a random lineup if neither captain nor vice captain posts a lineup within that period.
7) There are no lineup restrictions, apart from the compulsory selection of a wicket-keeper (//) in your lineup. It also helps to have a minimum of 6 bowling options marked for ODIs and 5 for Test matches.
In the meantime, please do as you see fit with the 5 attribute points given to you to distribute across your squad to PC players, and post your 15-strong squads for the ODI series against Ireland (England) and Scotland (Australia).
Hopefully, I've explained everything that needs explaining. If you've participated in a league called Cricket Dynasty before, I think you ought to find this quite simple. But if there are still any questions regarding anything, ask away
And FYI, signups are still open. In fact, they'll remain open until the very last match of this league. So those of you who have missed the boat and are currently viewing this post, do not get discouraged from signing up just yet. There's plenty more matches and series to be played, and you might be needed later on.
It's just the real life Anderson that has been ruled out of selection to avoid a break in the space-time continuum. Your player is still very much a part of this.
Well sad truth.. I guess @VC the slogger can bring something up to make all the participants active in someway. other than just looking at the post every time
James Anderson, Jonny Bairstow, Cameron Boyce, Jos Buttler, Alastair Cook, James Faulkner, Travis Head, David Hussey, Mitchell Johnson, Usman Khawaja, Chris Lynn, Glenn Maxwell, Liam Plunkett, Toby Roland-Jones, Joe Root, Mitchell Starc, Ben Stokes, Peter Trego, David Warner, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood
