Day 2
MARYLEBONE CRICKET CLUB 1st innings (57/1 overnight)
USPC opened the day with spin but it was the pace of Aditya Sharma that got them their first breakthrough.
Sharma picked up the wicket of former Zimbabwe international Friday Kasteni shortly before lunch.
Teenage batsman Jake Doran started with a flurry of boundaries after lunch.
The USPC players' relief after dismissing Liam Gough was short-lived with Christian Purchase getting going almost immediately.
Doran and Purchase cashed in on some really awful bowling by the USPC bowlers and brought up their century stand in no time
Thomas Edison finally 'Purchased' a wicket thanks to Andhuvan taking a brilliant catch inches away from the boundary.
Jake Doran brought up a maiden first-class century. Probably the first of many to come.
The MCC ended the day with a lead of almost 200 and 5 wickets still intact.

Lads this is just not what I wanted to see, batting was totally miserable and only one of our player got going and that is Dick, who will get a nice warm hot chocolate whilst all you be in the nets practicing your hand eye co-ordination. Even more upsetting with the bowling, we got one or two good balls here and there in like every 10 overs and the batsman just suck their teeth in with the kind of line we are giving, just take these overs as an example. Obviously we are against players who played a hell lot of cricket than all of us, but if we are going to make impressions for teams like Bangladesh and Zimbabwe atleast (No disrespectful) we need to get those crucial succeful momments going from the word go, whether that'll be a 100 or a 5 wicket haul.
If you want to improve, I better see some early wickets.

Day 3
MARYLEBONE CRICKET CLUB 1st innings (399/5 overnight)
USPC started the day with some schoolboy fielding errors much to the delight of Coughtrie and Doran. The former notched up just his third first-class fifty in 31 matches.
Jake Doran finally succumbed to the left-arm tweakers of Andhuvan.
Coughtrie and Lyons continued to frustrate USPC's bowlers as they pushed the MCC's total towards 500.
Coughtrie was finally bowled by Ashley Andhuvan, but not before he scored his maiden first-class century after taking inspiration from the 17-year old Doran.
Sam Baromono got them closer to bowling out the MCC by dismissing Doram. They still couldn't figure out a way to get past the stubborn Ross Lyons though.
And now it was Ross Lyons who began to take them apart. USPC however were spared of further pain as MCC skipper George Brooksbank declared the innings at 531/8. Their lead was well over 300 and it will take nothing short of a miracle for USPC to turn the tables.
After a tough introduction to the world of cricket, the USPC players were relieved to be heading back to their dressing room and awaiting their turn to bat.
