I read in 2005 or 6 that it would return in 2008/9. Bout time. When it ended, it was much better than the Simpsons.

Futurama's brilliant. At the moment I'm liking the older episodes more than The Simpsons. It's funny because I saw the advert for it like a minute before I saw this thread.

Good news. I do agree futurama did become better than Simpsons towards the end but only because the Simpsons has lost it a fair bit. Both at their peak and Simpsons is miles better. Won't have too much time to watch it though, once GCSE's really kick in again this year.

Family guy is average, at best. 2-3 cracking gags an episode, the rest are awful.

A lot of the gags are American orientated though, so you're unlikely to get them as you won't know what they are talking about.

That's not the problem. The problem is the gags have nothing to do with the storyline. As I've said before, most of the time Peter or someone will say, This is crazier than the time when...) and then a gag which is why I';ll always prefer SP. FG is still very funny.

Yeah, the newest series is just an episodic form of the straight-to-DVD films; the second was released three months ago; the third comes out early next month and the fourth comes out in February.

But who cares, love the tentacle.
