ICC 2006 Patch Problems

Basically, I've obviously had ICC2006 for years without any problems, but whether it's because of a new comp or not, the patch doesn't seem to download properly now. Whenever I hit the internet game to update, it appears to download the patch, only to crash after it hits 100%. I assumed before that it had updated, but I've now hit the dreaded end of 2008 Season crash, so I was just wondering if there is a place I can download the patch without doing it while the game is loaded, because that seems to make it crash.

Possible?

Have you uninstalled the game and re-installed it?

I am having the same problem with this on my international save it crashes on the 31 March 2007 when i try to go onto the next year and the patch doesn't work either

Any help would also be welcome

Just tried this and no luck. Problem is still the same.

Could you copy the game files from your old computer to your new one and reenter the registration details when it asks?

I just turned the firewall off while it downloaded, it still seemed to crash after the download, but another thing came up and now it works fine and updated. Thanks guys.
