1.6 - FOUR - Porterfield once again finds the leg side boundary with a clip to midwicket. Great over from Islam though, just nine from it.
2.1 - Three - Joyce pulls a short ball to midwicket, where the fielder gets a hand on it, saving a certain boundary.

3.3 - Two - Dropped short by Islam but Porterfield can't get hold of it and it's deep into the leg side for two.
3.4 - OUT - Plumb. Full, straight, no swing, out. Porterfield attempts to drive through the off side but it goes in on the angle and traps him on the pad. Would have hit off stump about halfway up. Porterfield out just one short of his half century.

3.5 - FOUR - This one is a gift first up. Sliding down leg, flicked away by O'Brien through midwicket for four.
3.6 - Dot - A big swing and a miss as O'Brien looks for a maximum over the leg side. It flies past the off stump and into the keeper's gloves.
4.1 - FOUR - Darted in full and straight at Joyce but he gets down on one knee and swats it into the leg side for four.
4.2 - FOUR - Gazi adjusts his length but this time it is too short and Joyce can rock back and cut this past point for a second boundary.
4.3 - Two - Big heave but no timing at all and it's just a two.
4.4 - OUT - BOWLED HIM. Joyce tries to go big once again but is beaten and the ball cannons into the leg stump. Bangladesh bowling well here.

Abdur Razzak comes into the attack as we have spin from both ends.
5.1 - SIX - That is a quality shot. O'Brien spanks a full ball pitched outside off high over the cover boundary for a big six. The first six since the fourth ball of the innings.
5.2 - FOUR - Swept hard this time and it reaches the boundary in no time. Ireland stepping up the pace here.
5.3 - SIX - HUGE. That is as big as they come from O'Brien. He sets himself on one knee and slog sweeps this handsomely over the deep square boundary. It lands in the top tier of the stand.
5.4 - SIX - It's big again, this time on the off side. How he has cut this for six I don't know, but he plays with the turn and smashes it flat for six.
5.5 - FOUR - Full and once again it gets the treatment, this time over cover. It bounces once before crashing into the advertising boards. Big over from O'Brien.
5.6 - FOUR - This is poor bowling. He drags this one down and it's easily slapped to the midwicket boundary for four. 30 runs from that over!

6.1 - FOUR - There's turn for Haque but Wilson gets on the front foot and lifts it back over his head. A few bounces and four, splitting the deep straight fielders.
6.2 - SIX - Same ball, this time hit harder by Wilson and it travels the distance. Ireland tucking into this Bangladeshi spin attack.
6.3 - Dot - Wilson goes for a big heave over the leg side from a rank long hop but plays it early and misses completely.
6.4 - Three - Driven to long on where a superb diving stop saves a run. They come through for three.
6.5 - Dot - That's much better from Haque who gets a little bit of grip of the surface and beats O'Brien's outside edge.
6.6 - FOUR - This is going for a wide down the leg side but O'Brien gets down to sweep it fine for four. Two dot balls but Ireland still get 19 off the over.

7.1 - FOUR - Short outside off and Wilson just leans into the shot and caresses it through point and away for four.

7.3 - Three - Cut away in the air but it's safe and O'Brien is brought on strike.
7.4 - Dot - Poor shot from O'Brien who goes for a big hit off the back foot but misses outside the off stump.
7.5 - Two - Straight drive from O'Brien who can only pick up two down the ground.
7.6 - FOUR - That's more like it. A beautiful cover drive beats the diving fielder in the covers and is at the boundary in a flash.

8.1 - Two - Wilson doesn't time a pull shot and it trickles into the leg side for two.

8.3 - Dot - Great bowling from Haque who is giving nothing away. He does O'Brien all ends up with some sharp turn.
8.4 - FOUR - Too full from Haque and O'Brien drills it back past the bowler for four.
8.5 - SIX - FIFTY. Short and given the treatment over the off side by O'Brien who reaches his half century off just 16 deliveries.
8.6 - Two - He's looking to hit this leg side but completely mistimes it and it rolls into the covers as they scramble two.

9.1 - FOUR - Short and punished by Wilson who swivels and times the pull all the way for four.
9.2 - SIX - Flat six over midwicket, unbelievable strike from Wilson. He moves within three of his half century.
9.3 - FOUR - Easy pickings for Wilson who once again pulls this to the boundary and in doing so reaches his fifty. He gets there from just 14 balls, two quicker than his partner.
9.4 - SIX - This is sublime hitting from Wilson. This time it's the off side boundary and it travels all the way for six. He's caught in the crowd, maybe the fielders should stand there.
9.5 - Three - He goes leg side but doesn't get hold of this full ball. They run three and it will be O'Brien on strike for the final ball.
9.6 - FOUR - Short and pulled away for four. Very expensive final over which goes for 27. Both Wilson and O'Brien end on 60 not out. Bangladesh will need to bat well if they are to chase this down, they need 19.4 runs per over.

0.2 - Two - Dug in again but this time it's at the body and flicked into the leg side for two.
0.3 - FOUR - Same ball again, this time Iqbal gets hold of it and pulls it through midwicket. No hope for the fielder.
0.4 - FOUR - Leg side and it's easy for Iqbal who dismisses this to the leg side boundary. He's started off in style, just what Bangladesh need.
0.5 - SIX - Watch out in the crowd, Iqbal is looking dangerous. He smashes another short ball high and long and it lands ten rows back in the stands.
0.6 - Three - Iqbal steals the strike with a three at the end of the over. Good fielding stops the boundary at midwicket.
1.1 - FOUR - It's almost a carbon copy of Johnston's first delivery as Murtagh drops short and wide and Iqbal creams it through point.
1.2 - Three - He doesn't get hold of this one and it flies high into the on side. It lands safe and they run three. Haque sets up to face his first ball.
1.3 - FOUR - This almost takes Haque's head off but he closes his eyes and slaps it through midwicket right off his forehead. He's off the mark.
1.4 - Two - Down on one knee, a brave decision after the previous ball, and clips it leg side for two.
1.5 - SIX - That's better. Short, head height and Haque is expecting it. He doesn't try and keep it down, just swings the bat hard and it flies way over the rope.
1.6 - Dot - Good finish from Murtagh as Haque goes for another six off the back foot. He doesn't connect and Ireland finally bowl a dot ball.
2.1 - Dot - Back-to-back dots. Short but Iqbal doesn't pick it up and misses it by quite some way.
2.2 - Three - Clubbed into the leg side but there's a fielder there to stop it from reaching the boundary.
2.3 - Dot - Great comeback over from Johnston as he wraps Haque on the gloves with a brilliantly directed bouncer.
2.4 - SIX - Now that's a reply. Short and wide and it's smashed way over third man for six. Johnston won't want to ruin this over with his last three balls.
2.5 - Three - Flicked high into the leg side but lands safe. They cross three times.
2.6 - FOUR - Iqbal ends the over with a four and keeps the required run rate to around about where it began. No wickets down and Iqbal could hold the key to this match.
3.1 - SIX - That's six number three from Haque as he slogs this high and handsome. It lands just the other side of the rope, great start to the fourth over for Bangladesh.
3.2 - Three - It's short this time and Haque doesn't get hold of it. Stopped on the boundary by the fielder.
3.3 - Three - That has been hit very fine and beats the keeper. There is a man at fine leg who stops the ball and saves one run.
3.4 - Two - He's not got hold of this at all and he is lucky not to lose his wicket. The fielder thinks he's got a chance at cover but it is just beyond his reach.
3.5 - Two - Runs not coming as freely and once again he skies it. It's safe and they run two.
3.6 - FOUR - He finally times one and it's all along the floor. No stopping this as it races in front of square on the leg side to the fence.

4.1 - SIX - Welcome to the attack, John. Mooney pitches one up and Iqbal lays into it, hitting it way, way over midwicket. He looks in great touch.
4.2 - OUT - The commentators curse strikes. Just four short of his half century and he nicks an innocuous half volley outside off to Rahim behind the stumps. He's set up this chase perfectly though.

4.3 - FOUR, DROPPED - This is a difficult chance but a chance nonetheless. Short and pulled hard through midwicket. The fielder dives and gets a hand to hit but can't hold on as it bounces away to the boundary for four.
4.4 - FOUR - Same area but this time it's safe, racing away to the rope for back-to-back fours.
4.5 - SIX - Beautifully timed. Full, slow and smashed over cover for six. Islam has picked up where Iqbal left off.
4.6 - Two - He hasn't got hold of this. He looks to work to leg but gets an outside edge and runs two on the off side.

Dockrell will bring some spin into the attack.
5.1 - Dot - He gets turn straight away and he beats the outside edge. Excellent start from Dockrell.
5.2 - FOUR - This is shorter and cut through the covers. There's no stopping it as it splits the fielders on the boundary.
5.3 - Three - Swept very fine and they manage to pick up three.
5.4 - Three - Lofted high but again this isn't timed and they can only pick up three. Dockrell bowling very well.
5.5 - FOUR - Played against the spin but it's perfectly timed and hit into the space behind cover. It kicks on when it lands and makes it's way to the rope.
5.6 - SIX - Don't bowl there! Haque goes to fifty in style, smashing his fourth six deep over square leg. After a good start to the over Haque once again drags Bangladesh along with the required rate.

On comes Cusack with some more seam bowling.
6.1 - SIX - Beautiful shot. Possibly shot of the day. It's full and straight and Islam slaps it down to long on off the front foot for six. Classy shot from the number three.
6.2 - Dot - He swings far too early on a slower ball from Cusack and misses it completely. Timely dot.
6.3 - Three - Well bowled off cutter that Islam cuts away for three.
6.4 - Six - Return to the first ball of the over and read. Exactly the same shot only this time it goes over long off. It's bigger as well, smashing back into play off the roof. Big hitting from Haque.
6.5 - Dot - Good bowling. He drops it back of a length and Haque can't get hold of it at all, the ball rolling back to the bowler.
6.6 - Three - Good stop from the fielder saves a run at midwicket as Haque keeps the strike with a pull shot for three. Bangladesh need 56 from the last three overs.

7.1 - Three - Cut away but it's not timed and Haque can only pick up three runs.
7.2 - FOUR - Same shot only much better execution from Islam and it races away for four.
7.3 - Three - Everything is short and wide from Dockrell but this isn't hit away to the boundary. Fours and threes will do it for Bangladesh.
7.4 - Dot - That won't though. Bit of spin and Haque misses completely outside the off stump.
7.5 - Dot - Oh dear, Haque has lost it here. Another big slog across the line and he misses it completely once more. Not what Bangladesh needed.
7.6 - FOUR - Well when the slog isn't working get down on one knee and slap the reverse sweep to the boundary. Spectacular shot. 44 needed from 12 balls.

Cusack has the ball for the penultimate over.
8.1 - Three - Scooped off middle stump down to fine leg. It doesn't make the boundary and they run three. Boundary needed.
8.2 - Three - Should have done better with that. A short ball waist height and he can't find the boundary. Three runs.
8.3 - Three - Three's all over the show here as this time Islam cuts over point.
8.4 - SIX - BOOM BOOM BOOM. That is a big hit, not just in size but in importance. He clears his front leg and mows it miles over deep midwicket. 27 needed from 8 balls.
8.5 - Two - The run rate is climbing. Two into the leg side. They need boundaries, badly.
8.6 - FOUR - There's the boundary. Short, slapped off the back foot through midwicket and away for four. 21 from 6 now. Down to you Islam.
Mooney is brought back for the final over. He has a wicket to his name.
9.1 - SIX - What a start! Short and just helped on it's way over the leg side boundary. Massive boundary for Bangladesh. Just 15 from 5 now, three a ball.
9.2 - Three - He doesn't get hold of this but it flies into the leg side and they scamper three. It brings up Islam's fifty, it's just 14 balls.
9.3 - SIX - That could be the game. He's waiting on the back foot and hooks it comfortably over the rope. Six from three now. Haque needs eight for an incredible century.
9.4 - SIX - He's done it in one. Short on the off side this time and he swings hard. The flashing blade sends it into the stands and the Bangladeshi batsmen go mental. Incredible win with two balls to spare. Haque ends with 98.

1.1 - SIX - Bell wastes no time getting himself in, flicking a full ball off his pads and high into the stands.

1.3 - SIX - Blink and you'll miss it. Short ball from Holder and it is dispatched by Bell high and long for yet another six. This is wonderful to watch.
1.4 - OUT - Now that's a come back! Holder goes short again and it's a vicious ball, smacking Bell on the chin. The ball clatters off his face and onto the stumps as Bell hits the deck. West Indies have their first wicket.

1.6 - FOUR - This time he pulls in front of square, the ball not getting up as high as the previous two, but he still finds the gap and it races away for four.

2.1 - Three - Cook goes big once more but he gets it high on the bat and the ball loops down to wide long on for three.

2.3 - Dot - That's much better from Roach. The ball is back of a length but it moves after pitching and beats Trott outside the off stump.
2.4 - SIX - This one doesn't move at all and it's pulled high over deep square leg for another six.
2.5 - Two - Short again but Trott doesn't time this at all. In fact he almost gets this off the back of the bat and instead of flying into the leg side it trickles away on the off.
2.6 - Dot - Great finish from Roach who claws things back with this over. Again the swing does for Trott as he gets nowhere near it.

3.2 - FOUR - You really cannot bowl there to Cook. It's angled onto his pads and he clips it away for four through midwicket.
3.3 - Three - This is a good ball. It hits the pitch and stops on Cook. He goes through with the shot anyway and skies it high into the leg side. It doesn't go to a fielder, however, and they run three.
3.4 - SIX - That is clattered by Trott. He is expecting the short ball and clears his front leg before swatting it flat over backward point.
3.5 - OUT - Holder does it again. Hit for six, wicket next ball. This time Trott plays on, the ball not bouncing as high as he expected and hitting the bottom edge of the bat.

4.3 - Three - He replies with a short ball but it isn't well directed. Root can't find the middle and it runs away for three.
4.4 - SIX - Fifty for Cook, the fastest in the tournament so far. He smashes this, pulling off the front foot and it travels all the way. His fifty took just 12 balls.
4.5 - FOUR - No need for power with this shot, just timing. He clips it leg side once more and the ball flies off the middle. Cook looks really, really good.
4.6 - Three - Again leg side, the West Indian bowlers really aren't bowling in the right areas. Only three this time thanks to a good bit of fielding.

Here's the spin of Sunil Narine.
5.1 - Three - Short from Narine to begin with and Cook swivels on it and turns it leg side for three runs.
5.2 - Dot - Turn for Narine who beats Root outside the off stump. Much needed dot ball.
5.3 - FOUR - Cut away as Narine drags down once again. No chance for the fielder in the deep.
5.4 - Dot - Slog sweep from Root but he doesn't get any bat on it and it goes through to the keeper.
5.5 - Three - This is impressive bowling from Narine. Very full this time, almost Yorker length, and Root manages to slap it away for three.
5.6 - Dot - Three dots in the over as Narine drags the run rate right down. Superb bowling.
England 125/2 - Cook 63*(16), Root 18*(7), Narine 1-0-10-0
More spin, this time from that man, Chris Gayle.
6.1 - FOUR - Too much width for Root and he swats this away behind point for a boundary.
6.2 - Dot - Spin is doing the trick here for the West Indies as Root can't get a turning ball from Gayle off the wicket.
6.3 - SIX - Much better for England. Root is given more width and he manages to get this all the way for six on the off side. Brilliant hit.
6.4 - FOUR - Root uses his feet for this one and lifts it back over Gayle's head. The fielder at long off tries to get round but it bounces over the boundary for four.
6.5 - Dot - England missing out on crucial boundaries at the moment. No spin from Gayle but it beats the edge.
6.6 - FOUR - Takeaway the dot balls and it's a good over as Root pulls this through midwicket for four. The run rate has dipped significantly during these middle overs.
England 143/2 - Cook 63*(16), Root 36*(13), Gayle 1-0-18-0
7.1 - Dot - He's bowled another dot, this time with one that goes straight on past Cook's edge.
7.2 - Two - Worked into the leg side for two. England are finding it very hard to get Narine away.
7.3 - FOUR - He drops short and Cook's eyes light up. He has time to go across his stumps and pull this away for four.
7.4 - SIX - Really good batting. Cook looks as if he is going to charge Narine who drops it short in response. Cook rocks back in his crease and dispatches it flat for six over midwicket.
7.5 - FOUR - He goes off side this time and it seems Cook has finally got the hang of Narine's variations. It's floated very full outside off and he leans into a cover drive, barely running as it flies to the boundary.
7.6 - OUT - Just as I say Cook is getting the hand of Narine he is out. Straight ball, Cook gets down to sweep but misses and is trapped plumb in front. Deserved wicket for Narine, who finishes his spell.

Eoin Morgan is the new man in. Another over for Gayle.
8.1 - Two - Root hasn't been completely fluent today and that's shown by this shot, which he tries to cut but gets an under edge for two.
8.2 - OUT - Spin has changed this game. Root tries to pull this into the leg side and the fielder at midwicket takes a great diving catch.
Root - Caught (Sammy) Bowled (Gayle) - 38(15)
Buttler in. Two batsmen on zero are at the crease.
8.3 - SIX - No problems for Buttler first up. Gayle tosses it up and Buttler slogs this for six. Very clean strike.
8.4 - Two - He doesn't time this at all however. He's looking leg side but it skews away to off.
8.5 - Three - England need boundaries if they want a very testing score, and this doesn't cut it. Buttler tries to but it rolls to backward point for three.
8.6 - FOUR - Elegant shot from Morgan who plays this through the covers, all the way along the ground, beating the fielders in the deep.
England 176/4 - Morgan 4*(1), Buttler 11*(3), Gayle 2-0-35-1
Sammy brings himself back on for the final over.
9.1 - Three - Pulled into the leg side by Buttler but it's well stopped on the boundary.
9.2 - SIX - Morgan plays an identical shot to his first, only this time he goes aerial and it sails over the rope for six. England will want a couple more of those.
9.3 - Three - Lofted into the leg side. They scramble three, just.
9.4 - SIX - That is BIG! Sammy strays onto Buttler's pad and he smashes this square into the top tier of the stands. Pure power and timing.
9.5 - FOUR - Sammy is forced to bowl this short and it still gets punished, driven off the back foot through cover for a four. One ball left.
9.6 - FOUR - Buttler ends with a third boundary in a row, this time cutting away behind square. Good knock from him as he gets England past 200.
