Stats Tracking for career player?

I thought I read in one of the reviews somewhere that there is no stats tracking for career player? Can anyone who has played single career mode confirm if this is the case?

There is no stat tracking, however, I am hoping this will be rectified with a patch (more hope than fact???).

This is really getting shitgusting , all my reasons to play this game are vanishing slowly. All hope on patch. BTW stats should be tracked for players not only career player , even BL99 had it.

Even the stat tracking for current career season is seriously lacking. Batting only shows balls faced, runs and maybe one other area. Nothing on Centuries, half centuries, high score, ducks etc. I'm hoping if they do patch it to give you complete stats for every player they expand the current stats to include everything DBC14 had.

The stats tracking outside of matches is only runs scored, balls faced, wickets taken, runs conceded and catches mainly I think because the other stats like high score are broken cause they show up wrong when you walk in to bat

So they expected it to be broken and didn't include them in the stats page? That doesn't make sense. They should still be tabled even if for the interim they are glitched.

Nope not as far as I can see 4 seasons in.

Yeah I think so. It really seems strange to not only remove stats that were in a previous game, but also stats that are just a staple of cricket. They don't really need to reinvent the wheel - just copy what Cricket stats have looked like for 200 years!

Unacceptable, really. I can't think of a good reason to do it. The employee(s) who did it need a stern meeting with management.

Someone up above stated that the reason is because they knew the stats were glitched and would show up wrong so they were scrapped. I would really hope that isn't the case as that seems more malicious than simply being an oversight. As that implies BA knew there were major bugs when they released. I think it is probably just an oversight since it is a really simple small thing that probably wasn't focused on because who could possibly forget such a basic thing!

Obviously I don't have any insider knowledge or anything but it seems very odd basic stuff like batting and bowling average are no where to be seen, let alone high score and 50s/100s/5wicket hauls when they are clearly being tracked by the game as you can see them (albeit broken) within the matches.
