I played as kent in 3 match tournament T20 game and for quickness simmed the games. Then when the tournament ended I went into the academy to check the stats of one of the players that I monitored to see if the earned stats had updated outside of the tournament once the tournament had ended and...

It does as I just simmed and it worked in competition mode.

Does any of the excellent beta testers on the game think the stats updating issue within tours/competitions could be rectified in an update or is it a design flaw? DB14 was able to incorporate them.

I've just been on DB14 and you are correct as stats do update. Let's hope there is a chance in an upcoming update that this can be implemented.

Would we be able to assign GM, Adidas and other non licensed bats to licensed players or will they be locked with their generic bats?

I would like to see the BARS/Review system used for more than just LBWs. It would great for bat pads and caught behinds.

A question for @MattW In DBC17 will there be an update of the BARS System to allow for reviews of edges for catches at short leg and catches by the wicketkeeper?
