Are perks still broken? I have 3 bowling and 4 batting perks, I cannot swap the batting perks for anything except for fielding perks. I want to swap my hook shot perk for accumulator or something like that.

I wonder about this one. According to the video this slider affects whether you can place your shot or whether game decides based on your input timing where the shot will go. However we know that in real life shots don't always go exactly where the batter intends, in fact it would be unrealistic...

This "Pitch degradation causing non-progression" sounds like the issue that was crashing my career file. They asked if I could continue my save and I confirmed I can progress it now. Glad to know bug reports really do work!

I also think it's possible they were trying to balance the fact that AI keepers have lightning reflexes, whereas the controls for batters trying to get back into the crease are... clunky to say the least. Trying to get your toe back in as a batter in this game, always feels like playing with...

Also for folks having AI collapse issues, mine seem to be helped (if not resolved) by setting run rate to 50 for all formats. despite earlier sliders saying to change the setting across formats, I think Big Ant have built run rate scaling into the game on a more effective level, so run rate 50...

update, here's a clip of fielders helping each other, imo they've much improved the fielding... also check out that glorious straight drive, I think this is batting style 3. p.s. if you want to score runs off of nice grounded strokeplay, women's career mode is great for it

this is a good point, i see them very rarely, only one in the last four FC matches. and that one dropped... whereas I've gotten like 10+ edges off drives.

have folks noticed that switching your bowling style allows any more or less fielding control after the delivery? I was wondering if my annoyance at inability to move/field after the delivery have to do with my bowling style, or if that's purely cosmetic
