I too don't have the time so I just play a session or 2 in a sitting. Keeps yourself fresh and also allows you to not drive yourself mad with the bullshit the game throws at you.
Just played an entire test match on Ashes Cricket and it is insane how much better that game is. The pitches actually have an impact, bowling is rewarding and the very obvious seams on Cricket 24s gameplay don't show there. They really just did two decent titles didn't they. DBC14 as a mission...
I'll be honest. Even if you avoid having short legs and silly points and just have a one slip in at first I am at a loss at how you aren't taking wickets with spinners.
I have not touched the online ting at all. All I ever do is play 4 day county matches coz I'm a loser. It's so tweaking frustrating. You accept the game's myriad flaws and start having a fun time with it and then they fearsome tweak you over again and again and again.
Hey Ross: EVERYTHING YOU LEVELLED AT...
Tried a completely new match and the field is now the same in that as well. It's not even a particularly good field for a test match. How do they keep doing this?
I had one yesterday at Lords which wasn't even a one bounce, it was a drive that plonked just outside the inner ring and then went along the ground and was given as a six. Given that I had one earlier that was definitely a six and was given as a four I took it.
Yeah, some stupid bugs since the update. Have had AI fielders not collecting balls near boundaries a couple of times and the game just not progressing as a result which never used to happen.
Day 1 - Session 1:
Welcome to my new era of England. Captain Duckett leads a post Bazball England that measures test match batting with madness and strokeplay. So far Has went cheap, Duckett went ham and Root has looked sublime all the while Durham's new Big Ben is keeping it chill... for now.

Altho it obviously holds a place in my heart coz of the Lockdown Tourny and the legendary Cook Vs Pujara series.
So interestingly just came back to a game where Middlesex ended 44-0 at the end of the last session I played (I batted before) and I was being spanked but I was right back in it when I restearted and had them 7 down by lunch on Day 2. I think some of it maybe confirmation bias tbf and it's more...
