India A 36/3 (12 overs)
(C.E.Cuffy 1-11, V.C.Drakes 1-2, A.C.Cummins 1-7)

West Indies A's new look pace attack, mainly because of injury, has India A rattled at 36/3 at the first Drinks break on Day 1.
Down 1-0, the visitors mount one last effort to save the series.

It should be a good match, with West Indies starting as slight favourites despite Sri Lanka winning the first one.

It's a loss for us losing Ratnayake but hopefully we will carry our form to the next game.

Sri Lanka had a very good batting lineup around this time, I can see why they managed to win a World Cup in the 90's.
West Indies played a Test in Sri Lanka in 1993/4 but it was rained out after about 20 runs or so split them on first innings.
Sri Lanka might have won that with some luck, and in this league have a chance to break West Indies unbeaten run in Test series since 1980.

Score update:

India A v West Indies A - 5th Unofficial 4 day Test 1991/2 - Bangalore

India A 245/3 (57 overs)
(V.G.Kambli 139*, S.C.Ganguly 82*)

India A were 3/36 after some good new ball bowling by West Indies A, but an unbroken double century partnership between Kambli and Ganguly has India A on top at Tea on Day 1.
West Indies A are running out of ideas on a pitch rated Normal, and probably should have done a lot better given their good start.
India A lead the series 1-0 and will be confident of winning the series from here.

Score update:

Sri Lanka v West Indies - 2nd T20 International 1991/2 - S.S.C.Colombo

Sri Lanka 77/2 (10 overs)
(S.T.Jayasuriya 36*, M.S.Atapattu 35*, C.E.L.Ambrose 1-21, C.A.Walsh 1-23)

Early wickets to Ambrose and Walsh as Kuruppu and Gurusinha were out in the first 3 overs, but Jayasuriya and Atapattu repair the damage and put Sri Lanka on top at the 10 over mark.

Score update:

Sri Lanka v West Indies - 2nd T20 International 1991/2 - S.S.C.Colombo

Sri Lanka 124/7 (20 overs)
(S.T.Jayasuriya 63*, M.S.Atapattu 35; C.E.L.Ambrose 2-21, J.C.Adams 3-25)

An excellent bowling performance in the 2nd half of the innings by the West Indies has left them needing a mediocre total on a decent pitch.
Ambrose lead the way early, but it was Adams 3 wickets in the middle overs which put the breaks on the Sri Lankan scoring.
West Indies will be confident of a win from here to take the series to a decider.

We collapsed after the 10 overs mark. Should have got atleast 20 more. Reckon this will be a lost cause.
