Not the best start to our campaign. We started well with Ruyel Miah taking two early wickets, and Jalaj Saxena tied them down in the middle overs. However, Mohammad Naim and Samarth Vyas kept the score ticking over for Kerala. This set up a good platform at the death for Prenak Mankad, who bashed our bowlers to all parts to give Saurashtra a whirlwind finish.

Our chase started well when Sanju Samson blasted a quick 50, but M Saini hindered us with middle overs wickets. Rudi tried his best at the end with a valiant 50 but we didn't have enough left in the tank to chase 93 in the last 10 overs.
