There's the Jaffna we know! Interesting choice from Kohli to bat first today when they won their previous game at the same ground doing the opposite.
United openers barely scored and the run-scoring onus relied on the pair of Virat Kohli and Rassie van der Dusen, which they did.
But once they were gone, Tamil United's lower middle-order struggled to strike rate at an acceptable rate.
Mohamed Shiraz was the pick of the bowlers with 3-42. Theekshana was the only bowler who was expensive today for Jaffna.
Jaffna already had the match in their sack and the experienced Fakhar Zaman along with Madushka put United completely out of the game.
Zaman made a fifty. Captain Samarawickrama also got some runs under his belt before
Jaffna's golden boy Janith Liyanage put up the match-winning stand of 93 runs (unbeaten) with Klaasen.

Batting failure for us on the given day, but our bowlers failed to give a tough fight, Nuwan Thushara with great List A stats in bowling is a flop so far, being genuine all rounder expected Dilshan Munaweera to bowl few more overs, hope lads will give tough fight from now on.

Nice comeback after last lost, overall a good all-round performance from team. Good to see other batsmen contributing. Theekshana form is worry but hope he will get better with the league progressing.
