Steve Smith steps down. Actually thought he could have gone on and played in the 2027 World Cup. His number don't do him justice- Smith had a greater impact on the game than his numbers show.
Also get the feeling that we might see a couple more retirements by Sunday.

Not expecting any from India, although there is 1 who should retire at the very least. They will stretch it to 2027 WC.

I actually thought Ravindra Jadeja might hang up his boots in this format. Axar has shown he is a handy bat. Washington in the wings, with Bishnoi (pure spinner) to follow might force Jadeja to make way. If he has to make way, he has to do it now.
Rohit and Virat aren't going anywhere. If this was the CWC2027, then yes.
Among the other semi-finalists, I expect Williamson, Rassie van der Dussen to retire regardless of the outcome of the CT25.
Mushiqur Rahim goes too. In all honesty, this should have happened earlier. BD decision to move on from the trio that became famous during CWC 2007 will impact their fortunes in a big manner. They need someone to stand up and lead from here on. Mehidy Miraz is one for the future, but given how the BCB is run, I wouldn't be surprised if he become a T20 globe trotter, just like Shakib.
