Same here. 'AI' doesn't have much 'I' going on at times. It would be nice if the AI could read the game situation prior to attempting to launch an all out attack at the opposition when the scenario calls for less than three an over! It's like the AI have human-like anger tendencies to smash...

I have found that caught behind is 90% of the time related to foot placement, ie: ball angled at off stump however footwork tends to leg side (for example). I never realized this until I started double checking my left stick movement vs in-game footwork. Too easy on the PS3 controller to lazily...

Finally got that half century after a few tantalisingly close forties along the way! Got to 55 fairly safely in a T20 before attempting to slog a spinner over his head two balls in a row - a bit too ambitious and pre-meditated, haha.

Experienced the first over-throws that went for four today. Career mode ODD, I was at the non-strikers end, the AI played a defensive shot down the pitch, the bowler picked up to have a shy at the stumps at my end. I got back no dramas, he missed the stumps with no one backing up and ended up...

Update two days later and now have had a scores of 31,35 and 48. Interestingly, I have been having more success batting with an aggressive frame of mind. Skills are going up much quicker now.

Touch and go, MattW. The fact it was backed up with a 67 must have got him over the line, but you were on the winning team so should it have?. Unlucky though, that's a pretty decent effort.

Better things to worry about anyway.

Well unofficially the game is receiving high praise from the community of cricket fans (myself included), the so-called critics will be struggling to justify any scores of 7 or less IMO. Fantastic job Big Ant!

After a dismal start to batting where double figures seemed miles away, my highest now is 26 (27) T20 pro batting at #3 . I no longer feel like every ball is pure survival and can now construct an innings. Getting there slowly.

From a batting point of view, facing any fast bowler who is bowling >140kph is a handful and it all blurs into each other. Can't say I'm good enough to consistently face up to it without pre-meditating shots - just don't seem to have the time to play the correct shot - but once the batting...
