There are rumuors that Akash Deep might make his debut instead of Mukesh. I wouldn't mind seeing that but if it's a spinner's paradise, it would be best to go with 3 spinners + 1 pace.

He will be given extended run. Otherwise, it would go against their own narrative. Kind of feel he and Root are due for a big score now. I can see it lurking around.

It appears that at least in limited overs format he will don that role more often (sort of like what Dravid did in the Ganguly era). Test cricket, yes, it would make sense to play him as specialist batsman.

I know the sample size is too small but if Pant isn't able to keep for a while, I wouldn't mind Jurel taking up the reigns. Feel like Bharat was given enough chances but he never really looked like he could handle the batting part. Jurel, on the other hand, looked impressive behind the stumps...

Don't think Rohit and Co were aware of the no of sixes record. It was there for the taking. If England can be 200-1 or 200-2 or so, that should make things interesting. It will still be a huge task at that point but at least it would make for some exciting cricket.
