I'm actually a bit surprised with the date, the last game came out after the AO had begun....this one comes out 2 weeks prior to the event.

The RG Edition is being released next month....it'll be even more updated, have a few new players and more options.

The latest update has really put the game in a decent state. Offline, the game is now....FUN. Online , however, is a complete train wreck and game killer.

Actually i'm pretty sure they've moved on. Ross was at the AO for most of the Semis/Finals and was constantly tweeting about AOIT Mobile.....not a single tweet or mention of AOIT. Mobile also seems to be doing well on the charts, so any additional pro's that were planned will probably be saved...

AOIT is my first experience with Big Ant, but do they generally give notice when the support cycle of a game ends? Like do they say 'final patch for x' or something along those lines....or is it just they drop a patch and then silence to end things?

The Patch is out.....not very big and no mention of players. I could have sworn Ross and Co said players were part of this update.?

But it doesn't have to be ready to but out an announcement or trailer....that's how you create hype and buzz. That's the real missed opportunity.

Did he also mention the next tennis game? I know it was mentioned last month but i don't expect it for at least a year. If it's an AO sequel, then AO 2020 makes sense.

Still crazy to think how people over hyped this game , when everyone could see how bad it was looking. At least they seem to be back on track now.

So a follow up is already in development and the Major Update for this game is still planned for January........

Another good feature to implement for the next version...."inside" shots/ putaway shots. In true tennis, a player can really step into those short or floaty mid courts balls and put them away with strong winners. This is missing in AOIT and can be frustrating in the longer rallies where you will...
