Will you guys be adapting to a similar patch rollout for this game as the first game, or will it just be fewer, bigger patches this time?

It's a complete mess

The problem is twofold.....first, we can't truly tell people how different the gameplay is or isn't based off gameplay videos. So far the hands on people seem to say the playability has improved and it's an overall better gameplay experience.....and that isn't something we can tell from internet...

I think the consensus is split.....those who have played the game around here, over at jv and youtubers all say how great the game is and how much better it's gotten BUT those that have watched videos and uploads all feel its look more of the same. Obviously played the game holds far more value...

There ya go, more new gameplay

The game is now out across France. One of the bigger retailers has released it. There's a version 1.01 which plays a lot like the original and then a version 1.02 which is much better.....

Well there are a few uploads on YouTube but they can't access gameplay of any sort- so there's not much good a screenshot will do at this point. Plus the tools have only been released for 1 week now.

Ross is an expert at deflecting questions....or down right ignoring them.

AO Tennis 2 Tools are now live. Players with steam can start creating players and venues for release.

Honestly, i hadn't been up until this recent video. I have been quite harsh with them across social media, and that initial reveal video did nothing to change that.

I'd say that was to be expected considering the title of the Dev Diary was literally the AO Precinct and Players....... Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and calm down for now, one of the guys in the video even mentioned that the gameplay has been overhauled. i expect a second Dev Diary...

Latest trailer, lots more players confirmed plus it looks like a ton of new animation work and fleshing out of the career. Scenario mode is also confirmed ( where you can replay classic matches or create new ones).

I’m glad this reveal ended up being earlier than most expected. Seems to look like more of a re skin , although there’s a few odd things that leave me inclined to believe this footage is from an older version...but I’ll leave that for later.

That's understood but then why blast the publishing deal all over the press release. It was literally more about the deal with BigBen than it was about AO Tennis 2. Either way it's head scratching and there's no rationale for it.

Yes that's becoming more and more evident now. I just don't understand it, The Paris Games Week event was last week, BigBen's last published tennis game was shown off there...BigBen in a french company.....and the best male tennis players in the world were in France for the Paris Masters event...

See i would agree with you ...except this time they went and got an international AA publisher for this game, which is NOT their usual strategy.

I don't understand the approach with this game. BA goes as far as to bring in a rival game company and AA publisher for the game, and have a big praising press release....yet there's no information out about the game which is 2 months from release. The last game had a terrible launch, starting...

I just hope that with BB as publishers we will actually get some promotion and info ahead of release this time.
