I've made a load of old Glamorgan kits but I'm trying to think of a way to share them without overwriting Munkeymomo's original, current Glamorgan team.
If any of the other two Glamorgan fans on here want these kits, let me know and maybe we can find a way to share them.
Is there any technical reason why we can't have players batting in their fielding hats?
I understand the current safety aspects but our game has had over 100 years of blokes batting in caps or bare-headed.
I played my entire year and a half cricket career wearing a floppy white sun hat and if...
Try playing around with your internet hardware.
I had the same problem and it turned out to be a problem with the USB port that my wireless adapter was plugged into.
A hard-wired connection to my router sorted the problem out initially and then I moved my adapter from a USB PCI card to a slot...
Thanks for the help but after a bit of investigating it looks like the trouble is at my end.
The game doesn't seem to like my wireless adapter. After trailing a long ethernet cable through the house so I could use a wired connection everything works fine.
This isn't a long term solution but at...
I've already posted this in the bugs thread but my efforts to find a fix for myself have hit a brick wall.
Whenever I start the game I get to the screen with Don's face and after a few seconds I get a message telling me that I have to be online to play the game - despite the fact that I am...
Game Version Number: v0.1.0.1.0887

Very much so.
I won't be very happy if I can't wear the battered, floppy, white sunhat that I've worn every time I've stepped on a cricket field in the past 20 years (which totals about six or seven times). There will be no point creating myself for a career if I'll have to wear a nondescript...
Cheers.
I think I'll just give the old logos up for dead and start again using Illustrator. At least that way I'll still have the SVGs if anything else goes wrong in the future.
What was the solution to this problem after?
Even after the new update I still can't access any of my old saved logos and any attempt to place them or use anything that already had my old logos in place will crash the game to the desktop.
I'm only using the Academy at the moment. Practice doesn't seem to like my controller right now but I don't want to buy a new one yet since it works perfectly for everything else, including DBC14, and it may yet work fine in the final game.
And I've gone through all the integrity thing as well...
Bit of a bug I've picked up on.
While my created teams are back all my logos have now disappeared. All the filenames are there on the selection list but the thumbnails are blank and, apart from the Big Ant logo, nothing can be placed. Trying to edit a logo gives the same blank list and then...
Also, all but two of my created teams have disappeared.
They didn't have any players in them yet but I was using them to design kits and all those are now lost.
I don't know if it's just me doing something wrong but the new logo positioning system seems very sensitive. The slightest tap of a key seems to send a logo a long way so accurate positioning is difficult.
Am I missing a mouse option or a fine-tune key somewhere?
Got two more of my old bats done. The black bit on the GM is a hasty repair job with wood glue and duct tape after a thick inside edge took a big chunk out of the bottom corner. The Panther was a railway sleeper with a handle.
My first proper feedback for the game.
Looking good! Few gremlins but I'm sure they'll be ironed out.
Only things I would want in the game so far are some sort of eyedropper tool and proper RGB colour options in the logo creator; and at least some sort of option to have women playing against...
I haven't been delving deeply into these forums in the last few months so I don't know if this has been answered before so I'll ask again.
Will the final game have an option to save, re-use and share complete designs for kits/bats etc. or will we have to drag logos into position for each item...
That's in-game. I've got Illustrator CS2 on my second computer but I can't be bothered learning how to use it properly at the moment.
The more I work with the in-game creator however I'm getting more irritated by its limitations...particularly the colour options, cursor speed and the lack of...
It's taken a while but I've built my favourite bat from back in the day. Those concentric circles on the back were a pain in the bum and pretty much drained all the enthusiasm I had for doing those little logos around the 800. It'll do for now
