I can't say I've noticed the pitch being a factor with this at the moment. Played on a good variety of pitches in my career and have torn several teams apart because they keep on playing the leg flick/glance and get caught off the pad at leg slip or short leg. It's got to the point where I just...
I'm glad you've said this. I was playing some career mode and was almost having to talk myself out of "hey, that's turning more than in the first innings!" It was definitely turning a good chunk more.
On the subject of spinners, I've actually put in a ticket with a suggestion to separate...
Certainly some of them, yeah. I had forgotten to mention scoreboards, so I think I'll add another ticket with some other stuff that is missing. It may well be there's more stuff to be added to the editor, but we can't be too sure with the way the game launched.
Reported some issues so far.
This is the top one. :facepalm
It's impressive how the game crashes when the camera merges with the crowd and/or stands in the Academy and the main game. It's this sort of stuff that baffles me. How on earth this stuff makes it through testing I really don't...
I'm certainly hoping so. Unless I'm being blind, there doesn't currently seem to be a way to manually place stands? They all seem to be locked to the sectors around the outside of the playing field. It's really rather restrictive. A lot of the new assets looked really good, but there's nowhere...
With regards to the wicket off the boot for Root, it kinda annoys me after Cricket 19. It happened so much in 19 that I ended up taking out all close catchers except for slip. It is at least MUCH less prevalent in 22. One thing I'm noticing now that I'm playing with spinners more is there seems...
Here's the last hour or so of gameplay from the first Ashes Test. This last chunk of the match had so many changes in momentum that I lost count... and nearly lost my mind along the way. :D
There was also this moment where I finally got Smith with the legside field/short ball plan after he'd...
I think this came in a couple of patches ago, unfortunately. I played a Hundred match where the AI didn't hit a single six. Not really played any team vs team matches since then in limited-overs matches.
While you may have preferred that, they would have received even more criticism for releasing another broken feature. Having played more than my fair share of buggy games in recent times, I truly couldn't disagree with this more. What I would rather they did was communicate that it wouldn't be...
I have witnessed a minor miracle - an AI batter caught somewhere other than keeper, slip or gully in a multi-day, multi-innings match! :D

At least on the classic controls, I've struggled for consistency on this front. I'm really not a fan of how they've changed the UI for classic control bowling this year at all. Typically my no balls happen when one of the inputs is red, but I'm struggling to understand why they're red sometimes...
To quote my own message, it's a mess. I messed with pitch bounce and pitch friction some more in a match. Sometimes it has an effect and sometimes it doesn't. Now my pitch bounce is closer to what I had prior to putting it to 0, even though it's back at 0 now. :facepalm
It does appear some sliders work in a match and some don't. Bowling speed sliders had an effect, but pitch bounce didn't. I'll keep fiddling and see which physics sliders actually do stuff in an active match. I may get round to testing timing windows and such. My time is a little limited due to...
@Punk_Sk8r @Rumple43 - it would seem some sliders (like pitch bounce) don't have an effect on an already started match. I just restarted my England v NZ match and zero pitch bounce is now definitely having an effect. :D
