Swann's doosra should be banned! :D I was truly inept against him.
5 over game setup if anyone wants to play, make it quick because my internet gets throttled in around 30 minutes...
Close of play - Day Two - 3rd Ashes Test @ Edgbaston
Once again I've not batted as well as I would've liked, although the Cook dismissal was pretty unlucky. Cameron White bowls it way down the leg side, I get a little edge on it and Haddin takes a diving catch! :facepalm
There's been a few...

Match Summary
Looking pretty good despite some resistance from White and Johnson. Dropped a couple of catches during that little session, both times it was Prior.
Lunch - Day Two - 3rd Ashes Test @ Edgbaston
Australia collapse yet again.
Colin, what sort of fields and bowling tactics do you use? I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to have to give each Aussie batsman Ponting's ability!
The Clarke run out was the same as I described in the patch...
Close of play - Day One - 3rd Ashes Test @ Edgbaston
Katich played down completely the wrong to a James Anderson delivery and had his off stump knocked back. Phil Hughes has been pretty impressive, hitting 3 4's and 2 6's in his 38 whilst Ponting has yet to get off the mark. Think I'll be...

I'm pretty disappointed with that score after being 116-0 at lunch. The Prior dismissal was pretty similar to what Colin described above. At first I was annoyed because he was...
Personally I think we need more control over bowling speeds full stop. It would allow for more variation in bowling, rather than just bowling at full speed and the slower ball with the seamerrs. It's certainly needed for the spinners, they currently bowl at one speed from what I've seen...
:sarcasm
What is your problem? They cocked up the original release and now they are putting it right, free of charge. They could easily have just left the game as it was like EA have done each time in the past, but they didn't. I was sceptical about the patch because the original game was so...
Here's what I was doing:
When I stopped using custom fields I generally used attacking 1 or 2, then balanced 1. I think that's how it was anyway! I'll get the opportunity to test it again fairly soon seeing as I've collapsed a bit in the third test.
Lunch - Day One - 3rd Ashes Test @ Edgbaston
Probably time I moved my posts into here seeing as I've given all the feedback that I can think of.
The area I've marked in red (first picture) tells the story. Ponting gets it wrong at Edgbaston again! :D To make things worse, Strauss has...
@ Tom & Brook, I agree with you both. I'll probably do one more test before I start fiddling with the player editor, seeing as my batting is still sufficiently fragile. I was 102-6 in my second innings so I still have some work to do there.
Out of interest, all the guys that have said the...
I've completed the second test, here's the summary.
I'm a little concerned the AI keeps getting out for fairly low totals now my bowling is more accurate. They play securely enough for a little while and then just get out. Maybe custom fields (and changing the delivery from the original...
I've just come across an extraordinary bug in a test match against the West Indies at Trinidad & Tobago. Bowling with Swann, Devon Smith lofts me for four straight down the ground. Next thing I know, the ball is running down the middle of the pitch, hitting the stumps at the strikers end and...
More to do with the size of Lord's. I've hit a lot of perfectly timed shots and they haven't reached the boundary. I've got a couple of all run 4's and a lot of 3's.
Just finished the second session of the second test and it was once again a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Having collapsed to 121-6 I was getting frustrated, but I've managed to get re-build with Cook and Swann. Those two have put on 130 so I'm 251-6 at tea. My batting in the middle order has...
