For me, as excited as I was for a new Top Spin, the lack of errors and hitting the net is putting me off... An area where Full Ace excels. I've never properly played Tennis Elbow but Full Ace is the only tennis game I've known that has pretty much got errors and net threat spot on.
I've been playing a lot of FM Touch 21, really enjoying it. The full fat version of the game is all too much for me, Touch is a perfect streamlined version.
From my experience:
1. All AI play the same, baseliners.
2. Truly awful.
3. They do and so does your own player.
4. In my opinion, for a sports game released in 2020, it's poor, very limited.
I just tried doubles for the first time, myself and 3 AI. It's honestly one of the most ridiculous things I've ever played in a sports game. It's just the AI pinging the ball to one another, horrible.
My Steam review...
I've chosen negative as there are just too many little things wrong with the game. It certainly has potential and is a definite improvement on TWT1 and the AO games.
The little things bugging me are:
- The net isn't involved in the game enough. Not enough 'lets', no 'net...
They can announce all the players and stadiums they want, the gameplay needs a drastic overhaul from the original and I very much doubt that will happen. If this tempts me away from Full Ace I'll be amazed!
Very good! Only done some practice races and time trials so far but all seems great. Looking forward to getting started with MyTeam when I have some more time :thumbs
It's a very decent game in my opinion. At £12 I'd say definitely get it if you're interested in snooker. The career mode is very good apart from the fact you can't create yourself :rolleyes
