The whole audio arrangement, from comms, to the crowd etc, is so insipid. Compare it to things like FIFA, NBA 2k, MLB The Show etc - and yes they are AAA games, but BA prices this one like it is - and its anything but. So much better could be done, but never is.

Quite. Ive barely had to watch one minute of early gameplay to see this ludicrous claim of revamped fielding is just that. Nothing changed from 22 to this game, at all. I desperately wanted it too, and to be good, and to praise BA, but we can all see whats happened here.

Fellas. Lets be brutally honest. This is a PS3 game at best, and yes i did say THREE. The graphics, the HUD, the animations, the...well you get it. Cricket gaming is going backwards faster than you can say "licenses". Tragic really.

As the batsman scamper a quick single, it was lovely to see Mitch Starc go after the ball with such alacrity... Dont forget though folks - "revamped fielding". Honestly.

Ive honestly never seen a game as untouched between versions. Ctrl+V. Thats quite literally all thats happened here, simply because a real life World Cup is about to start. Quite staggering what they are trying to pull off here - credit for ballsiness if nothing else.

Couldnt be more underwhelmed. Same Hud, same clay looking models, same gameplay. If you had said "here is a video of Cricket 22" literally no one would have questioned you.
