Itll be Omans new home kit and we'll be told to be bloody grateful for it. "But licenses lads, licenses!" Piss off.

Was my reaction too. I cannot believe they havent even freshened little things like that up, or apparently done the simple job of updating stats to be current. This trailer "licenses, licenses, licenses" etc, when added to the above total lack of effort, just screams "its World Cup time lets...

Dire...i mean honestly...dire. Two years later and you cant even give us a new UI/scoreboard? Lefties warming up right handed, same animations, everything thats already been said...and you bang on about how your great "licenses" will let me play as Oman. Yeah, cheers. Its nothing more than...

After a mammoth NINE month lunch interval, due to the wonderful snap on offer in the Caribbean, play resumed, and thanks to a lovely patient knock from Nkrumah Bonner, we are in total control of the match at close, 450 odd ahead with two full days left. Should be more than enough, so even with...

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

Turned into a low scoring thriller on a green seamer at HQ, as England (me) contrived to collapse during the chase from 204-4 to 234 all out, handing the Kiwis a 22 run win as they go one up in this three match series. We're off to Trent Bridge now, on what is apparently a more placid deck...

See my post in Slider thread mate, they seem to still be there?

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

I won the toss and bowled, v4 settings at Lord's. Kiwis in a mess, wickets to third slip, a flying gully, mid wicket, deep fine and more, lot of variety of with the quicks dominating, rather mirroring the NZ first dig in real life. Are others struggling to get edges/see wickets with seam? I...

Going to re-create the exact teams for the Lord's test ongoing at present, will go with v4 as is, then see how it plays and see what changes of yours ill need to follow.

Been away for some time, but its time to see how the many patches since ive last tried have affected the game. Hoping spin doesnt still set the AI into a tailspin every time. What we on now @Rumple43, v4? Base diff gone from Veteran to Legend? Just to make the AI more competitive i assume?

Its this that has killed the game for me mate too - in any conditions, with any settings, i can just rip through the AI with spin for under 100, pretty much at will. How can you play a cricket game where you would literally have to stop yourself bowling spin to give the AI a chance? Unless BA...

I wonder if this is as a result of them trying to tweak infielders from diving over the ball as much as they were? Not great, mind...

The match situation at lunch on Day three... A few non-event overs of blocking from the last wicket pair was ended when Kemar took the new ball and promptly removed Trent Boult with his first ball. We started soundly in our second dig, just John Campbell to go, offering at a slow wide one...

A Calypso Carnival Of Cricket - The West Indian Revival...

NZ manage to stop the Windies steam train in the last session, an obdurate partnership of 63 between Wagner and Henry frustrates, until Alzarri Joseph removed Henry in the last over before stumps with a full straight one. End of two very successful days for the new era of cricket in the...

A Calypso Carnival Of Cricket - The West Indian Revival...

And the home side are in absolute disarray as we break for tea on Day two... Only skipper Kane Williamson showed any staying power, but then ran himself out in a mix up going for three when only two was on. Only Jason Holder not in the wickets so far as the Windies take a stranglehold on...

A Calypso Carnival Of Cricket - The West Indian Revival...

A strong morning continues as Kemar Roach snaffles two early wickets to put NZ in a spot of bother. Latham went to a wonderful diving catch in the gully from new superstar (:D) John Campbell, and Young missed a straight one to ruin his pegs. They recovered a little after that, but as our men...

A Calypso Carnival Of Cricket - The West Indian Revival...

A belting morning for the West Indies on the second day, as first Alzarri Joseph then to an even greater extent, Kemar Roach, throw caution to the wind as the Kiwi bowlers get carted all around the ground, to take us over 400 and give us a wonderful platform with the ball. Over 100 runs were...

An excellent first day of this tough tour concludes, as we just tickle over the 300 mark at stumps. John Campbell fell in the nervous 90's before Jason Holders rapid knock even topped that, getting all excited with the century begging, and missing a straight full one from Matt Henry to lose...
