No it was the left handed Stokes so you would have had the finger straight up as would i!

Missed a sweep off Lyon, even i thought it was plumb...ump unmoved. Surely they'll review and im done for...no, confer, no review. Thanks for the life...

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

Yeah the green delivery was a bouncer pitching in the red zone, but its hidden behind the others. Think the tweak should help. Its all good info for refining the set further.

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

@Rumple43 Pitch and possibly ball bounce definately needs a tweak in v2 of the set. Just started the second test on a standard, hard deck in Adelaide. This is the "bounce". One of those was a red, short ball too.

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

Got there in the end by 61 runs despite a near ton from Cummins. England move on to Adelaide one up - ironically its my first test win since i got the game, a good time to start...despite the outrageous tail end AI batting as per.

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

Same as the Australia sliders in the linked spreadsheet in the first post of this thread.

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

From 175/7 to this currently and Day 5 begins. Yes, you could say im starting to boil inside. If they knock this off i think i might be done.

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

Aussies reeling at 68/3 at lunch, but rebuilding with Smith & Head settling in. Three very varied dismissals too, one a flying catch by Stokes at gully, one was Warner playing on to a fuller ball from Robinson, then i tied Labuschagne right down and he tried to free the shackles with an...

Grab a screen can you Dave. What season have you set it to?

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

A good day three for England as, despite a collapse of sorts after a good start, we bat the day out. We're all out just two overs into Day 4 and set the Aussies a mammoth 393 to win. Surely thats enough?!

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

Yeah the only problem i see with loads of flight is masses of bat pads, which we want to avoid really?

Latest patch has managed to cock the sounds of bat on ball up. Sometimes it sounds fine, sometimes it sounds like hitting the ball with a childs fork. One step forward, two steps back...

Love the pro cam view, but not given it much of a go yet, might try and persevere for a bit because i reckon it adds loads to the immersion if you can bat successfully with it. Love the clouds! Swing baby swing!

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

That sounds bizarre. 1641770993 Hazlewood batted like the Don to put on 50 for the last wicket...naturally but Robinson got him to play on to a full one. Lead of 123 to take with me in the second dig. Shocked how cheaply ive got them out with the wicket chance/pitch friction etc settings in...

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

Hows about this then to show collapses can and do happen. I put up 357 at the Gabba and thought with the Aus slider settings we have massively favouring the bat it wasnt enough, theyd go 450 plus, and at 89/0 and Warner racing along i knew i was right until... Nine clattered for 93 runs...

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

Yep, good ideas. Just creating the custom difficulty inputting the slider values and christ its reminded me how hard its going to be to get wickets - think ill do well to restrict them to under 450! First test toss shortly...

SLIDERS - Around the world in 80 pitch sliders.....again

Going to finally get round to starting an Ashes series tonight, thoughts on slightly differing pitches to represent how they were in reality. As we know the default for Oz in the set is Hard/Dry, but for a bit of variation. Im thinking Gabba, which was unusually very green, grassy/dry...
