Thats silly. Have you ever watched someone else play the game?
When you watch someone else playing you think, "gee you actually do get a fair bit of time to play each delivery on its merits"
The thing that makes it difficult is the fact that we have to sum up the line, length and then use at...

Really? i find that odd. I know we have gone over it in the bowling thread but i get a good number of edges.
Usually around 4 per inning. Mainly keeper but at least one slips per innings.
My very first wicket in DBC was in a casual test, got an edge third slip dove in front of second and i...
Hmmm well thats odd then. It's same in australian career, we get 1 review in domestic one-day and also reviews in the domestic T/20. I believe we do get reviews in the Big Bash in reality (i stand to be corrected).
On a side note do Scotland and Netherlands really play in English domestic...
To get it thru point or backward of point i usually play off the back foot. Easier on a short ball but can be played off a good length.
Anything just out side off move left stick DOWN (ie: "6 o'clock)
and right stick RIGHT (anywhere between 3 and 5 o'clock)
Anything fairly wide of off stump...
After fiddling around a bit i dont think this is the case. All the preset fields seem quite realistic.
IF the AI did choose their fields from these presets there wouldnt be a problem.
The problem for me is when a spinner has two gullys in. Not side by side but one directly behind the other, a...
Its a good quota compared to those that aren,t getting any! Ive had up to 6 in an innings and as few as 2. ODI and t20 numbers would be well below the 4-5 you speak of irl,
although that number is probably right for tests
I have said in other threads that I also get a good quota of edges every innings. I'm the other way. More off medium and fast bowlers than spinners.
I'd average a couple to the keeper and at least 1 to the slips in every innings. I've had as many as three slips catches in an Innings. Only one...
Dude I wasn't referring to the slips part of that at all.
Just the red circle. Which I was a bit misinformed about anyway.
My main point was that none of that was ever spoken about being changed in this patch. We have to wait for the 2nd ;)

This a bit off topic but may be of interest to a few around here. (Didn't want to start a new thread just for this)
This collection of Don interviews is FANTASTIC! It is quite hard to come by, was...
I was talking about for this patch.
And that is quite a departure from bigants original stance on it. I remember when a few people queried it in early videos and they said they felt it was needed to pick up the ball properly in the field.
