@passwordistaco can I just say thank F you got the elephant in the room question out, whats the go with Timmy and the game, was definitely curious and Mike responded pretty well. Loved the question about Nacon was a really good insight into there relationship and input . Always good to know how...
Couldn’t agree more. I think unfortunately there are more people and more people who just seem to care about getting an ultamate team, more licensed players/teams and creation tools etc, that Big Ant have no choice really but cater to those people more and more. That’s where the money is...
SNES cricket (super international cricket- Howzat :p) was the best back in the day. Shane Warne cricket was fun, had a mate who had it. Unfortunately I wasnt lucky enough to have a PS1 so I grew up on Super international cricket. After that played mostly the EA and codemasters titles (which were...
yeah fair enough, the video I saw he liked it but its probably still be in development. The only time I sort of noticed it was some inswing and yes didn’t effect length. Hopefully they can refine it and make it more useful. If by release it make a difference to in-swing/out-swing etc then could...
Let us know if you get it, I’m holding off till payday haha. Will get it from jbhifi though.
There was a couple of things that were said by someone (about certain aspects of big ants promotion of the game) that probably didn’t need to be said. Specially in this day and age. Got me worked up...
Whomever did what’s best for this forum, you know who you are and thanks :) everyone is entitled to there opinion but some things are just best unsaid and better left to yourself.. let’s continue to promote positivity and good friendly banter. Bring on November 25 :)
Couldn’t agree more, none of these people live in Melbourne, you can’t do anything here. You basically have to work from home and you can’t go anywhere todo photogrammetry work for player likenesses or even motion capture. The gaming industry I don’t think has been classed as an essential...
Pre orders are for the hardcore gamers and fans who will always get a game no matter what.. Also It’s about building hype and getting people committed to the game.
The pre order (net challenges) part of Cricket 22, is for the hardcore fan who they know will pre order the game and will give them...
Yeah once you got the hang of batting it was fun. Early on in career mode, it was a strugle at times to bat. I always play as an allrounder and struggled on the batting side. It was a contest between bat and ball that I enjoyed but once my stats/skills got better I started making runs a lot...

Nothing compares to DBC 14. I spend hours apon hours in the career mode. was soo removed from previous cricket titles previous to that. Best cricket game ever made, after Shane Warne cricket 99 :P can’t go past that game. Lol
Graphics look sharper and less washed out in comparison. I’d say having the game designed for next gen helps them crank the graphics up abit too. Hopefully frame rates are better also specially on loading and highlights etc.
Agreed…. Collision detection is a must or needs improvement. The ball going thru the bat/player like a ghost happens too often. Even the player or the wicket keeper just casually walking through the stumps is something that shouldn’t happen as often as it does. Also agree footwork improvements...
All these ideas for cutscenes for career mode and drafting/auction just like they have in The Hundred DLC and the editable bowling/batting styles etc would all make good editions to the game eventually. However the game itself needs improvement first.
1) Fielding needs improvement. Fielders...
No I agree, however having something dynamic as that (weather) would be cool to see and maybe it’s a game setting you could choose to use before you start the game. Also if selected it might only be something that may effect the for a few overs here and there. Also you would be able skip the...
Would love to see weather changes based on the local weather at the stadium etc. Also have it so if you play the Ashes the same time as the real Ashes is on, the weather IRL is the weather you have in game. So let’s say it’s raining at the SCG IRL then in game it’s raining also. I’m sure...
Not sure if you know or care about the AFL (Aussie rules) games but the last AFL evolution 2 game that was released by wicket witch software, was made using the Unreal Engine and they had a similar teaser before release.
All I can say is when I’m playing “The Hundred” if I bowl a certain way and place a fielder at either long on or long off it’s guaranteed that the ball is going to be hit high in that direction and going to be caught by the fielder down there. Doesn’t happen “all” the time but It’s still too...
Just had this pop up after the patch. I finished one match, started a new one then after getting out of the new match it came up with this message. Any ideas?
