    The ICC Needs to Change

For the longest time I have been of the opinion that the ICC is a governing body with no backbone. They need to take a serious look at how they do business. When 70%-80% of their revenues are coming from on source, it was only a matter of time before that source became greedy for power. I do...

    India in Australia

Though there still seem to be some doubts if the series will go on; I believe that BCCI will not cancel the series. I understand that the BCCI is very powerful, infact they are more powerful than the ICC. So even if they do cancel the series nobody can do anything to them. But right now...

    India in England/Ireland/Scotland

The weather forecast does not look good. Looks good for Fri, Sat but rain, rain and more rain for Sun, Mon, and maybe even Tue. My bet is for another draw. Luky if we can get 2 full innings. This year's summer just stinks.

Yes, I agree. But who is going to do the kicking. Everyone in the ICC jump out of their seats everytime a BCCI member does so much as sneeze.

    Australia Central Contracts 07/08

I can't believe that Gillespie is in and Katich is not. I am not sure what the selectors have against him. He is just out in the wilderness now.

Group D - Ireland, Pakistan, West Indies, Zimbabwe

WHAT!? Asif, Shoab out of the WC. I never saw it coming. Those dopes (pun intended) had to get "injured" just now. What farce this whole affair has been. Looks like everyone except the Pak board knew this was going to happen.

Group D - Ireland, Pakistan, West Indies, Zimbabwe

Worst cover up ever Pakistan, you'd think after this many you'd be good at them. Razzaq failed a drug test, admit it. Well leave Razzaq alone, they won't even admit that Shoaib and Asif's drug problems. Giving some B.S. excuse of injury for them not taking the dope test. How come...

Group D - Ireland, Pakistan, West Indies, Zimbabwe

Are shoaib and Asif still in the team? Pak mgmnt seem to be dragging their feet on these the two. Everyone is tested except the two...hmmmm? Obviously there is some "juice" still in their system. I am sure they will make some excuse to stay off the roster for the tournament.

    ODI Tri-Series (Malaysia)

Bowlers went for 450 runs in 70 overs despite the pitch being unpredictable. But good to watch and a fair result. India is doing an excellent job in promoting cricket in other countries. Not only did they foot the bill on the stadium upgrades but are also paying Aus. and WI for their...

    India in the West Indies

Is the 3rd test going to get off without any problems? There seem to be some $$$ issues between the WI players and the borad. What a contrast of two sides - one that is loaded with $$$ and almost all members are multi-millionaires and on the other side there is not even enough money to...

    Top 3 umpires ever

    S. Venkat should have been on the list. He was one of the best.

    Best 5 Batsmen ever

Looks like the 5th batsman is the only disagreemnt. For the most part everyone seems to agree on the four - Bradman, Richards, Tendulkar and Lara.

    England in India

I think England threw away their upper hand gained this morning with some lackluster bowling. I thought Harmison was wayward, Flintoff did not make the batsmen play enough, Monty was adequate and Hoggard bowled well. I am not sure about the 5th bowling option, Blackwell did not look good at...

    England in India

To all of you guys living in the US: I just got off with Dish Network. It's going to be on pay-per-view. $170 for the whole series and $130 for the ODI's. It's available now to order. It's not on Sahara one.

Does anyone know what the sky deal does to broadcast rights for the USA. Is it going to be on Dish Network or Directv?

    India in Pakistan

What a waste of a test match. The people who prepared this pitch should be fired. This is what leads people to say that test cricket is boring. Earlier I had complained that people were not showing up at the stadium now I don't blame them. Pak don't look like taking a wicket and barring a...

    India in Pakistan

The economic problem I was referring to was for the rest of the stadium not the Pavilion. And the though the crowd grew it was still sparse considering the fact that this was a Indo-Pak clash. The series in India last year had much larger crowds than what we saw today and in the previous...

    India in Pakistan

Crowd support is appaling in Pakistan. People just don't show up for the games. Are people there just that dis-intrested in tests or is it that people can't afford tickets? With the economic situation in that country I can understand people being priced out of the game. Can some local enlighten...

    South Africa in Australia

Yes, but there seem to be too many of these idiots around. I remember something similar happened when India visited last. And how about the sports personalities themselves, Mr. Leyton Hewitt at the U.S. Open and we all know about Mr. Lehman and his views.

    Sri Lanka in India

I don't understand. If Ponting has 6/7 years left then Tundulkar has almost just as much. Ponting is 31 and Tendulkar is 32 so they are not that far apart. So they will retire pretty close to each other and Ponting needs make up 10 to get to Tendulkar. So I am not so sure that he can.
