There is a major problem with the AI on Cricket Coach 2014 while playing in 4th innings. Invariably the team does not score more than 100 batting last. Whereas with Cricket Captain 2023, this seems diametrically opposite!

Yes, I agree that there haven't been more than significant changes since 2014, but at the least they release a new edition every year with minor features and a debatable updated database. If Oli does that, I'm sure he'll have a more confident fan following!

Cricket Coach will never get released. Oli is just fooling around with us. Hope you're aware of that.

Hi @weetabixharry hope you're keeping well and feeling much better now. Was just wondering if you did get the time to look at the CC 22 player editor? In any case, it's now closer to the launch of the 23 version, but I'm sure there won't be any major changes this year from the Developers.

Hi @estmsm unfortunately, the player ability ratings are extremely complicated in the 22 version and if I have to bet on it, only @weetabixharry would be able to crack it. Apologies.

From what I understand, you need at least one international game to be played to edit the Stats. I may be wrong.

It's primarily based on age I suppose. The younger the player, the more chances he'll reach his potential. The older the player, he will automatically deteriorate with age. That's the premise of the skill attributes in the game too.

Will take another month, lots of additional datasets in 2022 edition for players I presume. Also, with regular updates of versions every week from Developers, might make sense to wait.

I think you're missing the point. While the fans of this game are in numbers, please don't assume that they are not frustrated! The problem is that no one else is developing a game to give this one any competition. So, it's obvious that fans will keep supporting it in the hope that it keeps...
