i did start a new competition.. but it still does not register..i will try it again tonight..atleast i know i am not doing anything wrong...thanks for the reply
any help on how to increase player stats? or is it not possible?
Thanks @Llewelynf for the relentless work..i genuinely feel that we should be paying you for all your fantastic work just as people pay for PES kits...
u make the game look wonderful and its really adds to the immersion level of the game...
One small thing i want to ask you, how do i change...
It would be nice if in a competition or tour, we could play with a single player just like the way i can play with steve smith in the ashes. Would love to play the world cup with steve smith or maybe maxwell
Guys i just downloaded @Llewelynf teams from the academy. Great work. I cant thank u enough.
Just a quick observation. As soon as i started playing with these downloaded teams the game started stuttering. Very similar to what used to happen in dbc17.
Is anyone having this issue? I am on xbox...
Ofcourse i love the ball seaming and swinging. I never said that it is a bug.
I am talking about a certain pull shot.
Anyways there has been lot of posts regarding the pull shot issue and big ant will decide whatever is best for the game.
The shot was there in dbc 17. But somehow not there in this game.
I get your point but if u see the ball marker, it is full circle red which means ball will be on the stumps. However after pitching it moves wide of off stump.
Hence hitting bouncers is a bit of hit and miss (in case of full...
Three things that have been bothering me while batting
1. Missing pull shot outside off stump
2. Normal pull shots going through the bat 9 out of 10 times. They dont hit it clean and its more like a chop on the ball with hardly enough power. I have already reported it in bugs thread. Another...
Batting definitely feels overpowered. I have been playin on legend and hard batting and its pretty easy to hit back to back sixes. Have been scoring runs at will. I am on xbox one with day 1 update.
I think they need to make batting a little harder.
I definitely feel that pull shots dont feel right...most of the time the batsman almost chops it onto his gloves or shoulder..if u look close the ball mostly passes through the bat..its sorto weird..i hope they are looking into it..i have already reported it in the bugs thread a few days back...

One small question...is batting in t20 easier then batting in odi...i seem to hit boundaries pretty easily in t20s whereas i struggle to do the same in odis
Just a quick query... i am really struggling when i miss a normal shot to a spinner... i am getting stumped again and again.. even when i am standing two steps behind than usual batting position... i am not sure if this qualifies as a bug but i think it may need some tweaking..the batsman doesnt...
It is certainly not as bad as earlier versions of dbc14 and 17, infact the field placements are more or less fine..will get a better idea once i play more.. i am just saying that in limited over games especially in last few overs, the field should be spread.. in most cases aggresive field is not...
Agreed. But if you have to chase at a run rate of more than 10-12 in the last 2-3 overs, it would not be wise to keep the field up... maybe i am unable to express myself well enough but i guess when you play the game u will agree to what i am saying...
