Forget the trailer. DBC 17 is in my hands.

Whilst in the test video he is bowling at the stumps a lot, there are still definitely not enough leaves. I do love the strike rate differential between Burns and Warner though, but it seems largely because Burns is playing weaker shots that he doesn't time, like some pulls to the infield...

Forget the trailer. DBC 17 is in my hands.

Still seeing some unfortunate oddities in the fielding like direct hits being way more common than real life and wicket keepers unnecessarily taking off the bails. There was also an instance when the ball was blocked back towards the bowler quite slowly yet it went into the slow motion camera...

...oh and of course, the grass looks lovely.

Forget the trailer. DBC 17 is in my hands.

Thanks very much for the video! Definitely very excited to get the game. If only I didn't have a PhD thesis due in February... A few impressions I got from it: Positives - Lovely to see the full Australian ODI kit in there able to be downloaded from the academy easily - Renovated SCG looks...

Don Bradman Cricket 17 - Official Trailer!

This is something I hadn't thought of but is now obvious. Thank you for the clarification. I have played a fair bit of NBA 2k17 and that has arguably the best looking faces in a video game full stop and has some terrific facial expressions. However, when you make your own guy, particularly...

Don Bradman Cricket 17 - Official Trailer!

So, am I allowed to say that in the above screenshot of the female bowler appealing the face looks very bland and expressionless? I mean she is appealing for a wicket yet doesn't even have her mouth open.

Don Bradman Cricket 17 - Official Trailer!

Perhaps, but a highly visible toilet and seeing such negativity isn't good. I quite likely the trailer. It's a lot more cricketer's cricket than flashy cricket (reverse sweep excepted) with subtle little things like plays and misses. I do find the players' faces still unfortunately fairly...

Don Bradman Cricket 17 Releases December 22nd

Odd decision to release the game so close to Christmas. It will far from maximise holiday sales.

Created Players, Logos, Uniforms and Stadiums

Yes this is something I've said from the start that the current way of creating stands is not optimal. There should be an option to have stands snap to the ground at a given point with the correct curve. For a circular ground this should be relatively easy, but for an oval I can see it being a...

That Steve Smith is superb. He was impossible to get right in DBC14. I'm liking that the players are less like cartoon characters this time around.

Well right now we have no idea about the core gameplay as we don't know anything about the AI.

How is wanting them available in career mode overthinking?

Don Bradman Cricket 17 General Discussion

Why not? This makes no sense. If we find a set of gameplay sliders that maximise the realism or fun factor of the game, why not have them in career mode? Online ranked games I could understand, but not career.
