I don't have the game yet, but may I suggest turning on automatic fielding for now until that bug is fixed, because I agree it does seem fairly game-breaking.

Turn off the commentary!!! The sound on these games is great in pretty much every aspect except the commentary. Enjoy it!

I saw one leave off a spinner in that 50 over stream. Otherwise not much, but I did tune in for the second half of the first innings, so not surprising. Also I loved how the AI batsmen really turned up the aggression near the end!
