Another problem is that since there is such a huge difference in the way the off drive and square "cut" play off, particularly with the backing away from the stumps, if you attempt a squarish cover drive and are just a degree too square on your controller you suddenly are in the "cutting" regime...
I'm not sure I entirely see that though.
I mean we do have the quote from Ross saying this is meant to be a "highlights package," a philosophy which I respectfully disagreed with. On the other hand, bowling (not fielding) in this game is a lot less arcadey. You cannot swing the ball like it's a...
I must say I only partially agree with this. There is no doubt you can have fun with this game, particularly with bowling, but I don't think it's right to say that just "half a dozen people" are the ones complaining and just the new guys. There are some fundamental issues that established...
I agree mate but I have no idea how. Any ideas someone? Basically every gate has two ad board logos and I don't see a simple way to change that. People could make logos that double them up but would then could be squished.
I also wish you could have logos that were not bright LEDs but simple...
I mean I enjoyed my first 20 20 game, both batting and bowling. It was only later reading here and then testing myself the lack of batting directional variation that I came to be rather underwhelmed with this release.
There are literally like four angles you can play a shot at...
I mean yes it's nice but it is wwwaaayyyy too easy to take that catch.
Has anyone noticed any varying difficulty of reflex catches? It seems like you have so much time that even for crazy chances like that which should be taken perhaps 10-20% of the time it's just as easy as one coming...
Another UI issue:
When you select a stadium to play a game in you can change countries but it actually doesn't do anything. You still have to go through all of the different stadiums which will get tedious when you have a lot. The images also are often wrong even for the BA-created stadiums...
I see from you an Adelaide Oval, Central Coast Stadium, Marrara Stadium - Darwin and the WACA.Please add to the list MCG circa 1968-1992 and MCG circa 1992-2002.
Academy ID: AussieDave27, although preferably on the list whiteninness could get named too :D
Has anyone had problems uploading their stadiums? I am trying to upload my old MCGs but keep getting this warning "This creation has not been modified and therefore will not be shareable until modifications are made" and then when I click okay or back the game crashes.
Okay, here we go ladies and gentlemen. The MCG released at two eras. Download them from AussieDave27.
First, MCG 1968 - 1992, nickname MCG 68-92, which is just after the new Ponsford stand (originally called the Western stand) was built and a bit over a decade since the new Olympic stand was...
So I played a few overs hitting every ball into the offside using the front foot only and no modifiers. Below is the wagon wheel and I must say it's a sad sight.
You literally cannot play a cover drive. It's arguably the most iconic shot in cricket, and even you have an image of Bradman playing...
