But wasn't the point of releasing the Academy early such that people would do this work pre-release such that it's all ready to go when the game is out?
Perhaps after 17.
DBC14 had very nice batting and bowling mechanics for the user but suffered from a very simplistic and often unrealistic AI, particularly when they batted.
The sliders seem to affect physical things in the game like ball swing, bounce, speed, timing windows etc and these should be effectively the same across all game modes (unless if you consider red and white balls swinging a bit differently).
There do not seem to be, at least at this stage...
I know but this is something that basically users just skip over. What you'd need would be for rain to visually occur and perhaps warnings throughout the games suggesting that rain might be coming.
But ultimately there are much more important things to put in the game first.
I have one suggestion regarding the roof:
Would it be possible to change the height? If you go to the MCG and sit right at the back you'll see that the roof is barely a couple of metres above the back row seat, yet in the stadium creator (clearly shown in the above image) the roof starts very...
Yeah, for me the only argument to not have rain is that it is hard to implement well. By that I mean it's not just hard to have an accurate distribution of washouts, but particularly hard to have the human player aware of the weather conditions such that they can react realistically.
And, if...
We don't want complete washouts but having dynamic weather often a huge part of the strategy of test matches.
It'd be very hard to implement though without it being a pure source of frustration though.
This is because it was a game played between two noobs who probably didn't know the stumping/runout buttons.
But reactions like these must be expected...
This is the type of stuff we've been wanting since I used to work on Cricket 2002 patches back in the day...
I wonder if there will be any AI related sliders.
