As far as I know Steam doesn't allow you to play with outdated versions. You can roll back from Beta to the main release, but other than that, I'm afraid not.

You need some kind of payment card from Visa, MasterCard or American Express, but it doesn't need to be a credit card. You can use a debit card or you can usually buy pre-pay versions of Visa or MasterCard but I can't speak for your country specifically.

You can use enter on your keyboard then enter again or p to bring up the menu. You can navigate the menus with the keyboard, just need controller for the gameplay.

That controls the play speed of the replay. Push in the right stick to switch between super slow mo, slow mo and normal speed.

I have to agree. I'm on ps4 so haven't seen these changes yet, but I use regular simulation in career quite often for these sort of situations. Sometimes I like to simulate over by over or just a few at a time anyway so I can keep track better off what's going on in the match.

Simulation is available in all versions of the game. The only thing you can't simulate is your own batting and bowling in career mode.

Thanks for the additional information. I didn't play any career mode before that patch so I didn't know that it only started with the patch.

You can't select umpires in career, but in all other modes, press square in the team select page to edit match settings and umpire selection is in there.
