Yeah. Either Pakistan crumble 3rd inns or they bat it out. There’s not be anything or any time to chase. Utterly absurd, but I’d be batting at least for 30mins after tea, to keep their batsmen out and tired and guessing, hoping we pick up a few early wickets and get brains scrambled

I don’t see why you would declare under 850 here, to get some real scoreboard pressure. I can’t believe I’ve just typed that sentence

On this pitch, can there be enough time for a result? You’d think the only way is scoreboard pressure and everyone round the bat… so though I agree 850 seems far fetched, what else are they supposed to aim for?

Oof. Really hope there’s some pitch deterioration. The rate England are scoring is impressive given the pitch is slow and the outfield lush

Given our weather, I’ve always considered the English love of cricket rather perverse. Taking into consideration their pitches, the Pakistani love of cricket is a whole other level of kink
