Niche game + pound down the shitter = more expensive game. But in reality it's only £8-£10 more than any other new title so that's nothing really. More than worth £50 in my opinion. I'd happily pay more to support Big Ant.
Email from Alternative Software:
Hi xxxxxxx,
Many thanks for your email.
We have only just received the news today, that the game is now ready to go to manufacture, so allowing for this, we are aiming for a UK release date of December 22nd.
Kind Regards

Would someone really go to the trouble of photoshopping the Alternative Software logo onto the cover and creating/writing all the blurb on the supposed back cover?
Edit: spelling and punctuation mistakes would seem to indicate yes, they would.
Does anyone know what stage of the process they'd be in now a month before release? Will the game have been cleared by Sony and Microsoft? Will the cd's currently be in production? Will they have shipped out to the publisher/whoever they go to? @Chief
Regardless of what is happening around that time (and whether or not it'll have an impact), Big Ant have an ace up their sleeve in the form of James Taylor. I'm sure he'll be giving the game a plug to his 100k twitter followers, 270k facebook fans and his 60k instagram followers. Sure is gonna...
I'm guessing the reason people query the process is because most games have a specific release date (that is publicly and widely communicated and known) and are available to be pre-order way before the release date, rather than a few weeks before it as is the case here. Everyone on here knows...
Game said the same, but I'm not worrying because a) this was the case before the last game (yet they both stocked it) and b) I very doubt pre-order links will be visible for another few weeks yet. If it gets to December 1st and there's no sign of anything on Game or Amazon then I'd be a touch...
@mani82ua Timing HUD on/off is answered (yes), as is home and away crowd noise (yes). Unsure what you mean by dynamic ball camera. Re-watch and you'll see.
If the temptation to use the sliders is going to be so difficult for you then I suggest you seek professional help.
The sliders can make the game easier AND more difficult. Putting up shot force may make the ball go to boundary on a more frequent basis, but it also means more catches may...
I think he's trying to say that he will be tempted to use the sliders to make the game easier for himself, which really isn't a discussion that can be had with everyone else.
