I'm really confused about the proficiency system... I've just created a player I want to be a very fast bowler, so why can I only add one star to his bowling speed proficiency? He has three stars for length and line accuracy. Yet I can add all the stars (except one) to his fielding...
Earlier too.. Just thought they would have attended to it as it seems a fairly easy fix (the umpires)
I'll post in the bug thread when I get around to it
The sliders in DBC14 did next to nothing... One of the biggest cons and pieces of trickery in gaming I've seen since No Man's Sky or the last Sim City. For me Cricket 22 is streets ahead of DBC14 despite its flaws.
Yeah, I honestly can't be bothered to raise a ticket if they can't be bothered to play test their product.. Obscure bugs I get it, they happen. But BA know there is no competition in the cricket gaming sector and they can get away with releases like this.
It's not a bug... I think it's a deliberate inclusion whereby the AI have to achieve a certain rate every single over, and if they dont get it, it will script a smash..
Great to see that in 2022 we are finally getting lofted off side shots..
How are people finding their tailenders? I'm still having a minimum skilled Siraj hitting 68 not out against me, and a Southee hitting 46 against me. Not unbelievable, but a bit imbalanced.
@WealeyH
Would you be able to put what you've actually done to achieve this at the start of this thread? Like a fairly detailed summary? Going back into the discussion thread is not exactly how I want to spend a Sunday
I had a feeling it would be too..
Many sliders did absolutely nothing in DBC 14 at all. I had people like Tendai Chatara hitting double centuries. Yet it was lauded as a deep cricket game. They get away with stuff because there is no competition.
I'm getting a bit of that on the latest Steam build, though not a long sample size.
The first three overs of a test match went as follows. Run rate of 25. They are rattling along at 4.5 an over after a session but we'll see how it goes, too early to draw a conclusion.
