Interesting. I've never had less than 430 in the final innings... I've actually never seen the AI get all out in the final innings in four test matches.
So what do you suggest, start with some cracks? fully cracked?
I want to change Tom Latham's batting against spin bowling proficiency to more than one star. Why can I not do this? @blockerdave @WealeyH @wasteyouryouth
Actually I cannot change any of his batting proficiencies...
I cannot change things like Neil Wagner's bowling proficiencies.. Is there...
Two observations.. I've been bowling as both teams in test matches on veteran AI.
1. Why does the team chasing always win no matter how many runs are needed? I've had 438 and 369 chased down.
2. Why does the number 9, usually Starc or Broad always hit loads of runs?
Anyone else noticing this...
One for the connoiseurs here.
In a test when a batsman is batting with a tailender, the fielding AI sets field appropriately for farming of the strike, but the AI batsmen just run regardless, not turning singles down. Would be great if they could turn singles down until later on in the over...
Don't forget it should depend on who is batting as well. I don't want us going back to having every batsman scoring at 4 an over. Mentalities are in the game for a reason. I've got precise Cam Green 8 (61) and Brute Inglis 40 (53), so maybe even a little too extreme (target run rate slider 20)
I find the dismissal variation and mentalities to be absolutely perfect.

Yeah, it's almost like they are scripted to get close to the target whatever it is in the fourth innings.. It's very strange.
Just had a short of a length ball from Robinson get big on Marnus who pulled and got a top edge down to fine leg who grabbed the catch. Probably the most satisfying one yet, bounced out like in real life. @blockerdave @WealeyH
Ive had two ring catches and one outfield drop in a test from the AI, the first in about 18 months.
Two cover drives straight at the fielder, one short cover off Leach, the other at cover off Anderson. One drop, Hameed playing the swan slog shot off his leg, dropped by Starc at fine leg.
Nice, but I see loads of AI catches in the ring during white ball cricket. It's the red ball game where it seems to have been coded out. It's good that the tailenders didn't bat like Viv Richards at the end though.
