Playing career last night and I've just been selected for my county (Notts), didn't have the best of debuts but hit a century and took 6 wickets in the second game.
Anyway in the morning of the game the players went off for what I assume was a rain delay, except it wasn't raining, it was clear...
I like cranking up the speed a bit. If I'm facing Starc, Archer, Rabada etc I want to feel rushed at the crease.
What does annoy me a bit though is facing 90+ mph in club cricket each game. Just wouldn't happen and that includes my own player who apparently is bowling consistently around the...
Australia to bat until about half hour after tea tomorrow (or whatever its called in day night games). Put about 500 on the board with Marnus and Smith lighting up cigars and getting the deckchairs out at each end as our fast mediums run their legs into stumps in the heat.
Then they'll stick...
Just got ps5 so started a new career. Batting all-rounder that opens and bowls off spin. Weird thing is I'm certain I chose a right handed bat but my player is left handed batting for some reason.
I don't mind too much except the milking of leg side runs is even easier for a left handed batter...
It turns out I am getting a Ps5 for Christmas (have ps4 now) , please don't tell me I have to pay another £50 for this, it hasn't been worth it yet paying for it just the once...
I want to play an Ashes series whilst I still have a smidgen of interest in it but just can't as its so easy to score runs. I was 50/0 off 4 overs with burns smashing about 45 of them on the leg side with no fielder in the same post code.
The ball has disappeared on my game for several overs at a time...
Also I was in the nets on career mode and there was no sound when the ball hit the bat.
There have been several overthrows but from the opposite boundary.
It's been moved from peak summer to April/May and September mainly to make way for the blast and the Hundred.
Problem with that is that the conditions at those times of year in England can often be nigh on impossible to bat in, especially facing a dukes. So all the teams have medium/fasts...
Does this take into account the changing conditions through a 5-day game? For example in England, more swing and less spin on days 1/2 then good batting conditions on day 3 then more spin and wicket chance on days 4/5.
I made some slider difficulties on C19 but could only do a certain amount...
It mentions crowd audio in the 1.08 patch notes, what has this entailed?
Is it too much to ask for for the crowd to reflect the area of the world its being played in?
For them to actually react to what's happening would be a good start...
Been playing the game tonight with the 1.07 patch. The game overall is playing much better and whilst still flawed can at least be played now and produce a reasonably decent game of cricket. The fielding has been improved, there are no more howzat shouts each time the bails are removed and...
If BA's remit is to bring in more casual players to bump up sales then releasing a game that you can't actually play at the moment might not be the best business strategy...
Does anyone else find that the pitch marker comes on just a tad too late regardless of the slider? So I find that it's quite difficult to hit proper shots as I have just a little bit too little time to react...
I haven't played since yesterday so it may have been patched out but I simmed three tests - at Lords, at Delhi Park and Sabina Park and took a screenshot of each day at each ground. There was a definite difference in the way the pitch looked, particularly at Sabina Park. I had turned on pitch...
